Wamasu Hatchling[edit]
- A crackle of lightning accompanies this hatchling wherever it goes, providing a foreshadowing of what it will become in its adulthood. Before that point, though, it makes an excellent if imposing adventuring buddy!
The Wamasu Hatchling is available as an Epic-level reward in the Grim Harlequin Crown Crates. It resembles the average green wamasu. Its default name is "Stormlight".
Wasten Coraldale Mudcrab[edit]
- Once considered a delicacy by Maormer, these iridescent mudcrabs regard every creature a threat, even other mudcrabs. With proper handling, it probably won't snap at your nose. Probably.
The Wasten Coraldale Mudcrab is available as a Superior-level reward in the Iron Atronach Crown Crates. Its default name is "Toetugger".
Welkyndstone Ruins Pup[edit]
- "The Wild Elves did something right when they tamed these adorable beasties! Look at those eyes, and that tail! Plus with that handsome armor, they'll be well protected on the road."—Apprentice Odrethin
The Welkyndstone Ruins Pup will be distributed to players who pre-purchase the Gold Road chapter between January 18 and March 18, 2024. Its default name is "Bollo".
White River Ice Wolf Pup[edit]
- The Ice Wolves that lope along the White River of northeast Skyrim are associated with both the goddess Mara and the Wolf Totem of Atmora - but it's mighty hard to think of their mythic stature when you're rolling around in the snow with an Ice Wolf Puppy!
The White River Ice Wolf Pup was available in the Crown Store for 1,000 
for a limited time. It is also available as a Legendary-level reward in the Flame Atronach Crown Crates. Its default name is "Wurf".
White Torchbug[edit]
- Some believe that gaining Meridia's favor is like gripping a double-edged blade tightly with bare hands. Yet, if you perform an action she likes, she may gift you with a White Torchbug—perhaps the least worrisome of her favors!
The White Torchbug is an upcoming pet. Its default name is "Sparky".
White-Gold Imperial Pony[edit]
- The White-Gold Imperial Pony was said to have made its debut as the birthday present for a noble's daughter, though which family claims this prestige is still hotly debated throughout Cyrodiil.
White-Gold Imperial Ponies were available from the Crown Store for 1,000 . It was previously available from February 8 to 12, 2018. It returned in 2019, where it was available from February 14 to February 18. Its default name is "Goldie".
Whiterun Mottled Goat[edit]
- Known for both their stubbornness and their ability to climb on structures at the worst possible times, the Whiterun Mottled Goat picks a favorite person and tries to follow them. Affectionate? Only if you find gentle headbutts to be so.
The Whiterun Mottled Goat is available as a Superior-level reward in Nightfall Crates. Its default name is "Cheesemonger".
Whiterun Wolfhound[edit]
- The hunting dog of the Nords of Skyrim, known to face down sabre cats for their masters.
The Whiterun Wolfhound was given to players who ordered the Imperial Edition on Steam before July 21, 2014. It also comes with the purchase of the official Elder Scrolls Online Nord figurine from Symbiote Studios (redeemable only on PC/Mac; not to be confused with the Pop! Vinyl Nord figurine). Its default name is "Horker", after the eponymous animal.
Wickerfright Banekin[edit]
- "Witches refused to share the grisly secrets of the Wickerfright summoning ritual … until now. Upon appearing, its wooden countenance twists into an eerie smile—a frightful expression, indeed!"—Warlock Aldaale
The Wickerfright Banekin was distributed as the day 21 daily reward for May 2020. It was available in the Crown Store for 800 from November 4 to November 11, 2021, and is now available as a Superior-level reward in Ayleid crates. Its default name is "Twistroot".
Windhelm Wolfhound[edit]
The Windhelm Wolfhound was available from the Crown Store for 400 from (?) to July 31, 2016. It was also available as part of the Starter Pack bundles that was available until November 28, 2016. Its default name is "Wurfles".
Winterhold Chestnut Pony[edit]
- Every child in Winterhold asks for one of these ponies at some point, and a very lucky few will receive one. Their small stature is perfect for young riders, and even older adults cherish them as cheerful and hardy pets.
The Winterhold Chestnut Pony is available as a Superior-level reward in Diamond Anniversary Crates. Its default name is "Sven".
Winterhold Wolfhound[edit]
- North of Windhelm in Skyrim, where the snow on the heights never melts, the Nords' great Wolfhounds have lighter and fluffier fur coats. In addition to barking, they even howl a bit like the wolves they pursue.
The Winterhold Wolfhound is available as an Epic-level reward in Dragonscale Crates. Its default name is "Drift Dog".
Witch's Infernal Familiar[edit]
- Equipped with a hat, this black cat makes its way in the world at your side, leaving little fiery pawprints behind as it goes.
The Witch's Infernal Familiar was available in the Crown Store for 1,000 during the first week of the 2019 Witch's Festival. It leaves behind flaming paw prints as it walks. Its default name is "Flamepaws".
Witches Festival Ghost Netch[edit]
- While it's unclear whether this little netch understands the nuances behind the Witches Festival's many traditions, its joyous tootling is reason enough to let it join in the celebrations.
The Witches Festival Ghost Netch is obtained by completing the "Haunted By Netches" achievement. Its default name is "Lil' Geist".
Witch-Tamed Bear-Dog[edit]
- Few Reach witches make the effort to invest eldritch magic into unborn pups, train them to draw attention without fear, and decorate them with eerie skeletal bone markings. All it takes is one look to either fear this canine or love it beyond reason.
The Witch-Tamed Bear-Dog is a pet that could be acquired by finding and using ten Bonedust Pigments, which could be found in Plunder Skulls or bought from the Impresario for 2 
during the Witches Festival 2021. Its default name is "Fur-rightful Fido".
Wolf-Lizard Pup[edit]
- The Wolf-Lizard Pup is simply adorable when it tries to howl, just hisses instead, and looks ever so confused.
The Wolf-Lizard Pup is available as a Superior-level reward in Buoyant Armiger Crown Crates. Its default name is "Hissy Howl".
Woodhearth Brown Rabbit[edit]
- Some Wood Elf spinners claim Y'ffre granted these bunnies as part of the Green Pact, scholars contest that Second Empire Imperials brought them when establishing Woodhearth and, well, nature took its course. These hoppy hares make great fuzzy friends!
The Woodhearth Brown Rabbit was available in the Crown Store for 1,000 from April 1 to April 8, 2021. Its default name is "Daisy".
Wrothgar Buck Goat[edit]
- The Orcs of Wrothgar have a hardy breed of goats well-suited to the area's rugged terrain and changeable climate. Each goatherd particularly prizes his herd's master Buck Goat; these tend to be both intelligent and pugnacious, good animal companions.
The Wrothgar Buck Goat is available from the Crown Store for 700 . Its default name is "Billy".
