Featured Articles are articles the wiki's users deem to be of the highest quality and should be held up as an example for other articles. Articles are nominated for this status below. Users then review the nominees for content, style, completeness, and overall quality and place their vote.
A gallery of older Featured Articles can be found here. Similarly, the archives of previous nominations can be found here. Note that not all failed nominations are included. High-quality images can be nominated for featured status at Featured Images.
Featured Article Process
Nomination
Any registered member (once autoconfirmed) can nominate any article at any time. Nominated articles should be of high quality and meet the wiki's style guidelines. They will frequently be recently completed articles or articles that have just undergone a substantial rewrite, but older articles are also suitable candidates.
To nominate an article, list it on the bottom of this page with a three-tier heading, (===Example===
), and briefly explain why you think the article should be given featured status.
Voting
After an article has been nominated, any registered member (once autoconfirmed) can vote to support or oppose each nomination. Each member can only vote once for a given article, but a member may change their vote by striking out the original vote and replacing it with the revised vote.
To vote on an article, state whether you support or oppose the article for featured article status. A vote should be in bold, and all votes must be signed. For example:
* '''Support''': <Comment> --~~~~
or
* '''Oppose''': <Comment> --~~~~
Commenting with your vote is optional, but if you oppose a nomination, please state how the article must be improved to get your support for featured status.
If you are not yet ready to vote but would still like to add your thoughts, you may use:
* '''Comment''': <Comment> --~~~~
or
* '''Question''': <Question> --~~~~
And fill in your concerns or questions.
Decisions
UESP Administrators will periodically make decisions on article nominations. Decisions will only be made if:
- The article has been nominated for more than seven days.
- Five or more votes have been placed.
- A clear consensus has been reached (either supported or opposed for featured status).
Nominations not meeting these criteria will be left open until a decision can be reached or it becomes clear that there will be no consensus, even if voting is left open.
Articles whose nominations pass will receive featured article status on the front page for at least two weeks and receive a small bronze star () on the top right corner. If an article achieves featured status before the present featured article's two weeks expire, it must wait its turn.

Lore:Eternal Champion
Now that the more unknown heroes have finally had their own respective pages created, this is easily the most refined and researched out of the lot. It's a good template to use as reference for future heroes (and current ones whose pages still need to be worked on) and is well written and thoroughly referenced without leaning on any one player's personal experiences playing as the character themselves.

- Oppose: A good article but I don't see a specific element in which it shines other than the necessary line toe-ing that comes with Hero characters, which is too niche to be feature-worthy. Mindtrait0r (talk) 02:36, 18 March 2024 (UTC)
- Support: I just added various other backstories found in developer commentary to the page of the Eternal Champion which I believe add an intriguing level of nuance to the character. Along with the solid information compiled of the traditional backstory, and the characters journey I think this would be a fine feature. Dcking20 (talk) 02:25, 2 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Looks solid for a hero page, and works to feature that whole lore section. —Dillonn241 (talk) 06:32, 15 June 2024 (UTC)

Lore:Alduin
I think we got things looking pretty clean with this page now and do a good job of not providing a strong opinion on the various sources that conflict on his origins rather just lay them on the table and allow the readers to decide. Add on a comprehensive history section, and a section that tackles all the various world eaters found in other cultures, and I think we have a feature worthy Alduin article.

- Support: Good coverage. No outstanding issues I see from a wiki perspective. —Dillonn241 (talk) 22:49, 29 June 2024 (UTC)
- Support: Conveys a lot of complex information without being either overly long or overly dense. A great job.--Draugluin (talk) 12:12, 1 July 2024 (UTC)

Skyrim:A Night To Remember
This quest page covers everything needed without being too long of a walkthrough. It has several high-quality screenshots, breaks up the walkthrough into clear sections, highlights the essential decision-making dialogue, and has a complete notes and bugs section. The only issue I see is one unconfirmed bug, but it's hard to fault the page for that; perhaps someone can confirm it soon.

Skyrim:M'aiq the Liar
Fun page with an explanation of every dialogue line he has in the game. The page is simple and easy to follow, but packs a lot of content and understanding of content into a small area. Considering there is no lore page for M'aiq (and maybe never will be), this is the next best thing if he's ever going to be featured.

Lore:Ogre
An often overlooked race in the lore. The updated article I think does a good job as conveying some of their complexity. I think they're plenty feature worthy!

Lore:Emeric
Comparing how the page used to be, Emeric's page has underwent a significant overhaul. I've added all relevant lore I could to his page. Also tried out that new template for when a person has more than one title, and I think it looks good. Thanks everyone as well that has helped contribute to the page.

- Support: The level of detail a recurring ESO character deserves. —Legoless (talk) 09:47, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
Lore:Kaladas
The Imperial Saints are a lesser-known topic, and Saint Kaladas was a relatively minor figure prior to getting the full Chapter treatment with ESO's 2021 Blackwood release. The article has a good mix of imagery, cultural info, and history. It would be great if more lore articles on Imperial religion could look like this.
Morrowind:OXM Challenge
All credit to Benefactor for the research on this one. Morrowind's OXM Challenge is a lost era of Xbox gaming which the wiki previously had no knowledge of. Our coverage of this minor save file challenge is now complete, and I think the page turned out well. It was an interesting challenge trying to document player-enchanted items (a first) and Xbox-specific information for Morrowind, much of which is still lacking on the wiki. —Legoless (talk) 09:47, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

- Support: I too thank ben for his contribution. This feels like a lost media type thing that was uncovered. Very obscure.--Analeah Oaksong (talk) 04:51, 21 November 2024 (UTC)
Legends:Legends
A bit of a special nomination this time. I was thinking about one final Legends featured article before the servers will permanently shut down. This is a bit of a sad historic moment for the Elder Scrolls franchise, as it will be the first instance of true lost media for a perfectly available game. So that got me thinking, which articles are eligible for nomination? All the great Legends articles are already featured (or they will be just more of the same), so I suddenly thought of something completely different. What about nominating the Legends main page as one final goodbye to commemorate the closing days of the game? This means that the featured article will go up one or two weeks before the shut down (from December 31 till January 31, 2025). I'm not advocating to add the main page to the category and list of featured articles. It's more of a one time special occasion.

- Support: I was also thinking of marking the occasion somehow and this sounds like an excellent suggestion. We did something similar with Merchandise:Mehrunes Dagon Body Pillow for April Fools this year. I think a commemorative feature along the same lines would be fine, without granting FA status to the hub page. —Legoless (talk) 14:25, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Support: While I only played Legends for a short time, I also think it makes sense to honour it in some way and this sounds like the perfect idea. – Robin Hood (talk) 16:02, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Comment: I changed the dates a bit, because the Asian server will shut down on December 31 and the main game on January 31. So I think one month between these dates might be the ideal time. --Ilaro (talk) 22:25, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- Support: I think it's fine to honor it in January like this.--Analeah Oaksong (talk) 01:04, 17 November 2024 (UTC)
