When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).

Filez.zip?

Not sure what you're trying to do here, but you should know that UESP is not a file-hosting site. We of course host images relevant to the articles on the site, and we allow some leeway with images for people's user-pages and the like, and there's a few non-image files hosted here and there (patches and such for the older games mostly), but generally we try to keep random unnecessary files to a minimum, and we'd also request that any files that are uploaded have some sort of descriptive name - "Filez.zip" is pretty vague. If you have some justification for the existence of that file on the site, speak out and explain it, and maybe we can rename it to something more appropriate, but otherwise, it will probably be deleted. --TheRealLurlock ^Talk 19:01, 22 August 2012 (UTC)

Hello and welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for your interest in the wiki; however, you seem to have been making multiple edits to a page by not using the show preview button, clogging up the Recent Changes in the process. We appreciate your enthusiasm, but keep in mind that each edit needs to be patrolled, so multiple consecutive edits create an unnecessary hassle on those who patrol. So please utilize this feature! Indents

It seems like you try to indent your contributions on talk pages by using the tab key on your keyboard. This will not work correctly in the wiki. You would do better if you use : in the start of your paragraphs, and one more for each contributors on a section. —MortenOSlash (talk) 11:22, 23 November 2013 (GMT)

I see your follow up on this was done on my talk page. This is not necessary, as I, as a contributor on your talk page, am expected to follow your talk page to see your answers to my posting. Talk Pages

Hey, Lmstearn! If you have a question and plan to do your own testing about it, would you mind doing the testing BEFORE taking it to the talk page? Talk pages for articles are meant to be formal discussions about the contents of an article, so when you post a question and then answer it yourself, it kind of defeats the purpose of a discussion (that is, to discuss things). I've noticed this a few times, so would you mind doing any testing you need to do before instead of after so the talk pages don't get clogged with one-person posts? @ThuumofReason. Yes [[1]] my bad. [[2]] is an example of deficiency in testing method. The red endurance stat that occurred at the same time as the stamina penalty did not revert until there was a level up. Simply resting did not cure it. The answer I gave that it was "not related" is only an assumption, too. To find out a more precise answer, one would need to decompile Oblivion.exe. Extensive googling and searching the UESP forums revealed that I was the only one with this experience. But then, if there were others with a similar issue, a 1 point decrement in a stat cured by the next level up may not be a necessary and sufficient cause for inclusion into this particular article- or indeed warrant any comment at all. Perhaps another article, perhaps the forums, as you say. Most of the content in the UESP wiki can be thought of as being set in stone. Thus, any constructive observation on the content that can initiate an interesting discussion can only be directed at perceived "grey" areas where the experiences of some contributors will differ to the experiences of others.
