Welcome[edit]
Hello LOKI! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! —ES(talk•email) 03:19, 14 June 2012 (UTC)
Userboxes[edit]
Hi! You know you don't need to post all that code to use them user boxes, you could just add {{User Skyrim}}{{User Oblivion}} which would show up as:
This user is knowledgeable about Skyrim. |
This user is knowledgeable about Oblivion. |

Patroller Application[edit]
Hello. You may wish to withdraw your application for patrollership as you do not meet the requirements. You may wish to read over the UESPWiki:Patrollers page specifically the Immediate Disqualifications section. in the few weeks you have been on the wiki you only made 14 edits on two different days and 10 of them are your own userpage. You can help out around the wiki without being a Patroller. — Kimi the Elf (talk | contribs) 04:51, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
- I've actually just removed the application. It may be a bit abrupt, but leaving an application there that doesn't qualify sometimes encourages people to vote, as we saw. It's easiest to simply remove it to avoid confusion.
- Loki: stick around, do a bunch of work, and make sure your grammar and spelling are good, and we'll be happy to re-evaluate in a few months. – Robin Hood↝talk 06:14, 5 July 2012 (UTC)
Discussion Pages[edit]
Hey there LOKI! I just noticed these edits where you edited another user's post on a discussion page. For future reference, it's site policy not to edit other user's posts on discussion pages, even for grammar and spelling fixes. Feel free to fix grammar and spelling on articles any time, though! Glitches[edit]
Most glitches in Oblivion have been found and placed on the appropriate pages. Most widespread glitches have been found in Skyrim, while one of the glitches isn't even a glitch, and others are tips, not glitches. Please make sure that the glitches have not been discovered and discussed in detail and added to pages before presenting duplicate info as new found facts when they are not. - Please stop posting new sections in all cap headers, it's extremely off-putting, rude, and aggressive, especially when they aren't even newly found glitches. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:43, 11 November 2012 (GMT)
