Hi Kivan! A belated welcome to UESPWiki! Thanks for all the information you've been adding about bugs and glitches. In the absence of any information on your user page ;) I've been assuming that you're the same the Kivan responsible for the unofficial oblivion patch... or is it just a weird coincidence? In any case, glad to have you helping out around here.

A question came up at Oblivion talk:Eugal Belette about the Broken Candles glitch, and since you posted everything I currently know about the glitch I was hoping you might be able to answer some extra questions :)

  • So as I understand it, the glitch only appears if you install either of the 1.2 patches (i.e., 1.2.0214 or 1.2.0416); and, more to the point, it's not fixed by any currently available patches (or at least no currently available Xbox patches)?
  • Does this only affect the candles in Eugal Belette's basement? If that's the only place using those candles, then where/what are the forts that the original editor was having problems with?

Thanks! --NepheleTalk 20:47, 10 July 2007 (EDT)

Yup, it's the Unofficial Patch Kivan. :^) I'll have a look at the page indicated. Kivan 16:23, 11 July 2007 (EDT)

Just when you think you've found them all...[edit]

... a few new anomalies surface ;) Two issues have come up lately with Oblivion weapons that I thought you might be interested in:

Sorry if there's some official way I'm supposed to report new bugs... but sticking to the wiki is easiest for me :P --NepheleTalk 20:56, 7 March 2008 (EST)

Hmm, the War Axe of Enfeeblement had a UOP tag on it at Generic Magic Weapons, but I'm not finding it in the UOP bug fix list, despite multiple attempts to search through the list using every word I'd expect to be in the bug report ;) So maybe you've found those already? Or was our UOP tag wrong? I really did try to check through your very long list before bugging you! --NepheleTalk 21:06, 7 March 2008 (EST)
Yup, the War Axe of Enfeeblement was fixed from being a blade to blunt one-hander long ago by the UOP and many other axes. I don't think that there are any that were missed. And I've fixed that EnWeapShockDamage15Lightning for the next USIP. The record was dirtied adding the Soul Trap changing vanilla weapons, and then it wasn't even used at all in any SI weapons; they made new enchantments (including an exact duplicate of that one) for them. Kivan 12:45, 26 June 2008 (EDT)

Another New Bug[edit]

There's a problem with ending up outside Frostcrag Spire if you're expelled from the Mages Guild whilst in the Anvil hall. We had a stab at finding the caus here but had no luck. Another one for the next release? –RpehTCE 01:20, 8 May 2008 (EDT)

Ooh goody... unsolved puzzle! I've thrown that in the To Do list for the UOMP (will be working on a UOMP and USIP update once the UOP is done, which is soon (I hope!) Kivan 01:25, 8 May 2008 (EDT)
Aaaaaand fixed. And tested. :^) I'll post some details on the linked page. Kivan 01:58, 8 May 2008 (EDT)

Since you're here...[edit]

Hey Kivan, since you're obviously paying attention to your Talk page here, are you still reading your e-mail at the address listed (which I won't repeat here, for obvious reasons) when you click the "mrke...@rogers.com" at the bottom of the Baldurdash page? Just sent a bug report to that address (reward bug for the SI quest in Split), so I thought I'd check and make sure that that's still valid. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 02:33, 15 May 2008 (EDT)

Yes... I got it. Sorry, haven't downloaded and replied to my e-mail in a few days as trying to finish the UOP. Of course, I had to come here and harvested thirty more bugs. D'oh! I just threw the mail into the SI section of the To Do list, and thanks! Kivan 02:37, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
No worries on the lack of reply...I'm sure you must get a lot of e-mail. As long as I know they're being read, I'm not a needy person. :) --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 10:08, 15 May 2008 (EDT)
Your sent script was just what it needed... I made the same changes and it's all fixed up now for the next USIP. Kivan 15:28, 25 June 2008 (EDT)

Scruffy Shoes[edit]

As reported here, there appears to be an error in the texture paths for the Scruffy Shoes added by SI. I don't know if this is something you have already found and fixed in the USIP, but I couldn't see it in the fix list, so I thought I'd mention it to you. --Gaebrial 04:28, 13 June 2008 (EDT)

Yup, Robin Hood just e-mailed me about it. :^) I'm just about done the UOP v3.0.1 hotfix. Should be out tomorrow. 90% done the next UOMP. Should be out Sunday or Monday. Then to the USIP. This will take a while longer as I have a lot of work to do on the ESP. Maybe by next weekend (8 days.) I'll look at this one and the kiloclubs problem as well as a bunch of other submissions over the months. Kivan 09:20, 13 June 2008 (EDT)
Scruffy shoes all fixed up now. Will be in the next USIP release. Kivan 15:27, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
Can't wait. Do you have an ETA? --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 21:01, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
I'd give at least a week. Gotta be thorough. :^) Usually when my best contributors know that I'm working on one of the three, they will suddenly overload me with all of their findings. Usually doubles my ETA. Kivan 21:42, 25 June 2008 (EDT)
That's lots of time for me. I plan on starting a new game in a couple of weeks, and I'm planning on doing all of SI very early in that game, so that should work out just about right! :) If there's anything you want double-checked in the USIP after release, let me know. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 01:21, 26 June 2008 (EDT)
Great... you are now on the list of beta-testers. Makes it a nice round ten. I have your e-mail address, but my usual method of contact is through PM's at the official forums as I don't have the e-mail addresses of all the beta-testers. I'll e-mail you for your forum handle there if I don't see a reply here before I push out the USIP for testing. Kivan 12:48, 26 June 2008 (EDT)
It's "RobinHood70" there as well. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 13:02, 26 June 2008 (EDT)
USIP v1.3.0 uploaded to super-secret location; you have been PM'ed at the forums. :^) Kivan 21:45, 29 June 2008 (EDT)
Yup, got it. May not start playing in time to help you, though; see PM on forums. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 22:36, 29 June 2008 (EDT)

Dark Brotherhood infighting[edit]

I don't know if you're aware of the issue, but I and a few others have witnessed in-fighting between the members of the DB in Cheydinhal. There's one report here, which is where I originally commented on it. After hearing other reports, I took a look in the CS, and if I'm reading it correctly (which I may not be), I think I've found a reason for at least some of the fighting. I've documented it here. I'm presuming it's a bug, even if this isn't the reason, as they will start fighting on your first visit to the sanctuary. --Gaebrial 12:35, 4 July 2008 (EDT)

Yup, that sounds like it. Thanks for pointing this out and, most probably, also finding the solution! This is also why the Thieves' Den people fight: low responsibility, Eat packages and no food. I'll put that in the To Do for when I start working on the UOP again (which will be very soon, just have a small UOMP update to do. USIP should be complete, for now.) Kivan 12:40, 4 July 2008 (EDT)

Another Bug[edit]

I hope this isn't too late for the next release, but it's only a minor problem anyway. There's a painting in ChorrolCastlePrivateQuarters02 called MS51ValgaPortraitRef that is the painting of the count stolen by Chanel. It's initially disabled and is clearly supposed to be enabled once the quest is complete but none of the scripts have the necessary line in. I've enabled it from the console and it causes no problems so I assume it's an oversight rather than anything intentional. –RpehTCE 06:54, 6 July 2008 (EDT)

Thanks! Into the To Do list it goes. Kivan 10:24, 6 July 2008 (EDT)

Porphyric Hemophilia[edit]

An editor just changed the article on Lord Lovidicus and pointed out that as well as not leaving vampire dust, he can't give you Porphyric Hemophilia either. There's already a UOP tag on the first bug but now the text reads as if it also fixes the second. I can't see that on the fix list but I thought I'd check. Does UOP fix that omission, and if not, is it something you'd consider including in the next release? –RpehTCE 01:05, 25 July 2008 (EDT)

Only the vampire dust was fixed but I can certainly throw in the P.H. and will do so. Thanks for the reminder. :^) Kivan 01:29, 25 July 2008 (EDT)

Roderick's Poison[edit]

This one isn't so much a bug, more just an incongruity. The bottle of Roderick's Poison remains in the medicine cabinet in Fort Such for ever. I'd suggest that it would make more sense for it to be removed after Roderick dies, to simulate the poison being taken by him. Not a high priority I know, but I thought I'd mention it. –RpehTCE 06:52, 2 August 2008 (EDT)

Still a nice inconsistency, so I'll fix that one up right away (already working on the ESP today.) Thanks for pointing it out. :^) Kivan 08:01, 2 August 2008 (EDT)

Brithaur and Kithlan in SI[edit]

It looks like we have another one for you. The Brithaur quest has a quest stage that implies Brithaur can be thrown into jail or, at least, "dealt with" in some fashion by the Dementia police but there's no scripting to actually do anything. Take a look at the discussion on the talk page too. I'm not sure what you'd want to do about this one... dump him in Corpserot Passage and hope his AI gets him home? Lock him in one of the Dementia cells for a bit and have a timer that lets him out after a while? Maybe just boost his responsibility like the other stage does. In any case, it's a bit odd at the moment.

I hope you don't mind I keep bringing things up on here. Since the problems usually come up as a result of discussion here, it's easier for me to link to post the info here too. If you'd rather I just email you (or leave you in peace!) I can start doing that instead. –RpehTCE 14:43, 6 August 2008 (EDT)

Cave Entrance Meshes[edit]

Hi Kivan. Is it possible that this is the problem with the cave entrance meshes? Something to check out, anyway. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 15:04, 22 August 2008 (EDT)

Honditar bug[edit]

Hi Kivan. I've noticed an exploit/bug is noted on the page for Honditar, the advanced athletics trainer in Chorrol. As part of his routine he practices archery on a target within the city (I'm not sure exactly where; I'm noting the bug from within the wiki rather than from in-game experience), but instead hits a rock behind the target. This has been noted as a source of free arrows in the article. I note that you have corrected similar behaviour displayed by the Imperial Legion Forester that spawns and practices near the Inn of Ill Omen. Would it be possible to correct Hoditar's aim in a similar way in any future UOP?

Can I also offer my appreciation of all your work on the UOP; Oblivion would be a far more frustrating place without its existence! All the best piphil 08:07, 18 December 2008 (EST)

Colovian Trouble[edit]

Sorry if you've already fixed this - I'm on the PS3 so I can't tell. Anyway this is actually two problems. The first is that there's a fort out in Colovia near the tail end of the mountains that has no name and doesn't appear on the map; while that's not necessarily a bug I figured I'd bring it up while letting you know about the other problem. Second one of the walls is out of the ground. You can actually walk straight through into the interior of the fort by means of a square gap in the wall.--TAOHuh? 18:57, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

That's (probably) Lord Vlindrel's Tower, and the UOP already fixes it. Kivan isn't doing UOP updates any more anyway - talk to Arthmoor. rpeh •TCE 18:59, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
It's hard to tell on the interactive map but I think mine is closer to the mountains. I know it's right at the base of one of them which doesn't look like Lord Vlindrel's Tower. I don't think it was that close to a cave either but I could be wrong about that.--TAOHuh? 19:06, 16 September 2010 (UTC)

About UOP...[edit]

When did it started as an idea? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 18:27, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

I noticed the number of bugs left in Oblivion a week or two after release and had it as an idea, and when Quarn indicated similar interest around the same time we started. We released the first one right after the first official patch. Kivan 14:04, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

Molag Bal[edit]

I noticed you added a UOP tag at the Molag Bal page, and I can't understand what it fixes. Does it lower the damage? Or it sets the health point higher than 20? --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 20:00, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

No answer? :( --Rigas Papadopoulos • TalkDeeds 21:28, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

I suppose it fixes the following:
  • The loss of Birthsign, Race and Fortify Attribute/Skill bonuses
  • Fame reset to zero
  • no body when you are resurrected
But Kivan surely may give a better answer. --Wizy (Talk/Contribs) 21:43, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

Here's a few![edit]

Hey there! Since you are hunting new bugs, I just thought I'd mention one I found yesterday. You can find my clumsy description of it here - and a bit of investigation here. Also, a real oddity can be found here. Somehow, the UOPS goes in and does something (documented here), but not something really helpful. Maybe it was time to take a good look at ol' Magra for an explanation of what is really going on? Anyway, that was just a couple of suggestions. Let me know if you need more! ;) --Krusty 01:01, 27 September 2011 (UTC)

Sure do. :^) Thanks for those. I am getting very close to getting the beta of the final UOP out (maybe this weekend even) so if you have them, this is the time. Kivan 13:48, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
Just what I remember on a late evening; all of them recently discovered:
Oblivion:Jakben#Bugs
Oblivion:Glarthir#Bugs
Oblivion:Nardhil#Bugs
Oblivion:Yvara_Channitte#Bugs
Oblivion:Maknok_gro-Coblug#Bugs
Oblivion:Carmalo_Truiand#Bugs
Oblivion:Algot_the_Northerner#Bugs
Also, this is interesting. Additionally, I suspect Othrelos was supposed to sleep? I'll se if I can think of some more before the weekend. --Krusty 21:21, 27 September 2011 (UTC)
Nice... thank you. A couple of those I just fixed or were already fixed but the rest have been thrown in the To Do List. I'll keep checking this page for further updates (also I did get an e-mail on them...) Kivan 02:41, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
A whole bunch can be found here. Just scroll down to find all the bug notes - please note, that neither of these has been checked in-game - yet. --Krusty 23:19, 29 September 2011 (UTC)
Not sure if missing greetings interests you, but in any case.... HERE!!! --Krusty 00:05, 30 September 2011 (UTC)
Moth priest bugs grabbed, named guard greeting bugs already fixed and page updated. Thanks again. :^) Kivan 00:59, 3 October 2011 (UTC)

() Another pair of possible bugs are the Weaponbane Cuirass and Mountaineer's Shield, both which were probably not meant to occupy the tail slot. --NepheleTalk 03:52, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

Weaponbane Cuirass has been fixed since 1.1 in July 2006. Mountaineer's Shield is a new one and will be out in UOP 3.4 due soon. Thanks. :^) Kivan 04:06, 25 October 2011 (UTC)
In case you still want more: the cost of normal Amber Arrows is unusually large -- larger even than perfect Amber Arrows. The cost of normal enchanted Madness Arrows is similarly wrong. Probably the CS value for all four arrows is supposed to be 6 gold (with the enchantment cost then adding an extra 8 to the final value of the two enchanted ones). --NepheleTalk 04:50, 29 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks, and excellent timing as I'm going to start on updating the Shivering Isles patch very soon. :^) I am hoping to get the UOP beta out today, which will give me an opportunity to work on the other two. Kivan 11:40, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

Is it worth....[edit]

First, it's great to see you on the site again and it's also good to see that you're finding our (mainly Krusty's) NPC stalking helpful.

I suppose my question comes in two parts. First, is this definitely, definitely the last UOP or would you be interested in doing another if we find more NPC bugs?

Second, you've pretty much got first claim on an Unofficial Skyrim Patch (although USP means something else to many people), so do you think it's likely you'll do such a patch? If so, it would be great if we could work together from day one so that we can flag new bugs and then you can mark them as fixed, with a particular version of the patch. If you see what I mean. We could create a "bug" template that would put entries in a category so you could find them easily, then have parameters for when you fix them. Is this something that interests you? rpeh •TCE 23:29, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Hey, stalking is a sign of success, so thanks. :^) Yup, I'll be on the USP. Already confirmed Quarn is on it too, and I bet Arthmoor will also be contributing. Any help ie templates would be really appreciated. I was thinking of setting up a bugtracker but this would be a nice substitute (and less work for me!) BethSoft has confirmed they will be doing incremental continuous patching for probably the first few months, so I'll probably just be reporting stuff to them and seeing what gets fixed and what doesn't, but anything to help the tracking/reporting is very welcome. Kivan 19:00, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Having some type of bug template for UESP sounds like a great idea, especially if bug-fixing people like you would actually find it useful.
One semi-related question that just crossed my mind is about decoding the Skyrim.esm file. Are you/Quarn/Arthmoor going to need to deal with the raw binary data, or are you going to be counting more on the Creation Kit and other tools? The reason I'm asking is that decoding the .esm file is definitely going to be a priority for some of us (rpeh, Daveh, and I, at last count). So should we start thinking about how to coordinate our efforts? --NepheleTalk 19:23, 1 October 2011 (UTC)
Okay, I've created a {{Bug}} template. Experimental at the moment but it'll be something like this in the end. You can see how it works here. It might be worth going through all our existing bug notes and converting them to use this, but that's obviously a fairly low priority. rpeh •TCE 10:15, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Nephele: Mainly will use the Creation Engine but I would certainly like to see any info on the underlying structure. What I'd really like to see is a disassembly of the EXE with proper labels, even a decompilation into C++. However with it going to be SteamWorks, possibly [CEG] this may not be easily accomplished (it may even prevent a Skyrim script extender.)
Rpeh: That's excellent... I'll start using this and replace any occurences on edits I do that don't use it. Thanks. :^) Kivan 22:47, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Question on the template: how do I indent a line with the template in it? I tried * and : and no dice... Kivan 23:07, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Help with a bug?[edit]

Hey Kivan! I found yet another one – only problem is, we can’t determine what is wrong. Can you take a look at this conversation and, if you have the time, do a little investigating? Just reply on this talk page and please let me know if you want to look into it or not. Thanks! --Krusty 18:04, 1 October 2011 (UTC)

Check the page... should be fixed now. There were several errors with the AI. Kivan 00:08, 2 October 2011 (UTC)
Yeah, thanks! It's a bit out of my in-game league, but there was a bug (or several), so hopefully rpeh can boil it down. Btw, did I point you to this page? --Krusty 00:23, 2 October 2011 (UTC)

Another one bites the dust[edit]

Hej Kivan - I can't help myself, so I ran into another one - while I'm unsure about your involvment with SI can you check out this convo? Thanks in advance! --Krusty 20:30, 8 October 2011 (UTC)

Carandial Camp[edit]

Hey Kivan! Could you look into this: Oblivion talk:Carandial Campsite. The map marker exists in game but is not set to ever appear. I don't know if you think it warrants changing with the UOP, but it's up to you. --DKong27 Tk Ctr Em 04:01, 14 October 2011 (UTC)

Nephele got it... this isn't a map marker, but an AI marker for Carandial the NPC when he visits Anutwyll. Kivan 02:24, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

Tsavi bug?[edit]

Hey Kivan! This has annoyed me for almost a year, so I figured I’d ask you. Each and every time I enter the Leyawiin Chapel, I find Tsavi standing in front of the Chapel Hall door, at the bottom of the stairs. After a while, she picks up her schedule and leaves – but she seems to be there at all times. Just tested it and I can confirm her presence in the Chapel at 10pm and 4am. Now, I know that sometimes NPCs can be found in odd locations, but this is really odd, as I have experienced it constantly for... yes, a year. It is like she spawns in the Chapel when you arrive in Leyawiin. My theory is that it’s got something to do with KotN (I can’t seem to trigger it without it), but since I’m on PS3 I have no further chances of checking. Any ideas? --Krusty 15:52, 23 October 2011 (UTC)

She's missing the key... should be fixed in the next UOP. Try an Unlock console code on the door to verify. Kivan 19:45, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Oh, and her explore AI wasn't set up properly either. Kivan 19:48, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Thanks! I'll see if I can draft some kind of bug description down. Any news on when you'll launch the next UOP? --Krusty 22:30, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Soon as I can get it done. :^) Right now writing up Arthmoor's changes from the UOPS. Once I am done that got a couple to fix, then a very long edit session putting changes into the plugin, then cleanup and packaging, then a few preliminary tests and then I put out the beta. Probably a few more solid days of work. Kivan 22:45, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
Sounds good! I'll just keep pointing you towards bugs until you say stop! Like these newly discovered bugs. :D --Krusty 23:18, 23 October 2011 (UTC)
In the thankfully-very-short-now To Do list they go. Kivan 04:09, 25 October 2011 (UTC)

Black Rock Chest[edit]

I keep meaning to ask you about this, although it's probably not a bug as such. It's about the boss chest in Black Rock Cavern, Lost Black Rock Chasm. Everything I understand about the CS tells me it should contain at least 1,766 gold but we've got more than enough in-game evidence (here and here, for instance) that states this isn't the case. Can you shed any light on what's happening here? Is it a bug or a feature? Thanks for any help you can provide. rpeh •TCE 10:38, 26 October 2011 (UTC)

Huh, I've never seen these posts before. I've actually never been to that cave either. But anyway, let's see what I can find out... Huh in the CS I was expected a leveled list of gold or something, but it is literally a lump of 1766 gold. I cannot see any other way to interpret that. Now in-game I indeed get some nice loot and a pile of gold. About 360 gold. I have absolutely no clue what to say about that. It is literally a set amount of gold pieces, I do not see how that could change. I am completely befuddled. Help us Kivan, you're our only hope! ;) --DKong27 Tk Ctr Em 16:35, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
This is good... we've uncovered yet another engine bug. If a container contains both a leveled list for an item and a fixed quantity, the leveled amount will replace the fixed quantity. Replacing the 1,766 loose gold with a leveled list that always provides just that amount, and leaving the other leveled gold fixes it nicely; they do combine properly if both are leveled. I checked and this effect also works with other items, not just gold. I'll throw the fix for this chest in the UOP, and thanks. :^) Kivan 23:36, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
FYI, the only other container that is supposed to have both leveled and non-leveled gold is Aelwin's 'SQ09BastardChest' (if you steal his key during Go Fish). So you might want to make a UOP tweak there, too. --NepheleTalk 23:50, 26 October 2011 (UTC)
Excellent... I'll fix that one too. Kivan 00:09, 27 October 2011 (UTC)

The Big Vitharn Mystery![edit]

Hey Kivan! Okay, you mentioned Shivering Isles somewhere, so here comes the big question from me. If you look at the Vitharn page, you will notice that Vitharn Reservoir was supposed to contain an awful lot of ghosts when you enter for the first time. Only problem is, there are absolutely no ghosts to be found, with the excpetion of a few ghostly bodies floating in the water. In fact, it is empty. Additionally, and this is what really annoys me because it probably means we’ll have to clean up all the maps – I can’t make ANY enemies spawn after completing the quest, in any of the five zones. I have tried everything; completed after finishing the Main Quest, before completing the Main Quest, and on both attempts I waited for more than 5 days in Bliss. I even left the Shivering Isles and waited in Cyrodiil for five days. Still, no new enemies in any of the five zones. I have asked around and everybody is very puzzled about this – you’re my last hope! Thanks in advance!! --Krusty 22:35, 29 October 2011 (UTC)

In the To Do list it goes... I'll be looking at Shivering Isles again soon and I'll post any findings on this. I save the URLs in the list so I'll remember. :^) Kivan 00:52, 30 October 2011 (UTC)
OK... had a look. I don't see a problem. They are supposed to be dead bodies, and they are all there in the cell. Their script kills them and applies the ghost shader, and if the quest is over, moves them to an unreachable marker. They do have a respawn flag but the same script will take effect if they do.Kivan 03:39, 9 November 2011 (UTC)

Thanks[edit]

You have been given a cookie!

Your dedication and diligence to the wiki has not gone unnoticed. A user has seen the progress you've made, and has given you a cookie because of it. Good work! The user had the following to say:

I just realised I've never given you any kind of reward for all the work you've done on the site. Our bug sections are much more accurate thanks to you, and it's great to have the author of the UOP here helping us improve things. I'm glad you like the new Bug template and I hope we can forge a strong partnership for Skyrim. rpeh •TCE 11:48, 3 November 2011 (UTC)
Aw thanks. You must have known of my appetite somehow... heh.
The work is its own reward, but a cookie is always welcome. :^)

Rimalus Bruiant[edit]

Hey Kivan! Terribly sorry about this, but I have an exact investigation of this guy (and an almost completed page) floating around in this sandbox. It adds a few extra bugs (and pretty much makes his factionbug terminal), so I was hoping you could find the time to look through them? My bet is that the new UOP fixes will take care of them all, so this is merely to make sure. Thanks! --Krusty 21:50, 7 November 2011 (UTC)

Bug Template Tweak[edit]

After your edit summary cry for help, I've added a "nobullet" parameter to the {{Bug}} template to allow a simple formatting tweak in cases where the template isn't being used in a similar way. You can see the difference it makes here. It's not much but it helps things look a little bit better. rpeh •TCE 18:02, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Very nice and thank you... not only did this, but you managed to spot the "cry for help" in the hundreds of edits I've been doing. :^) Kivan 18:12, 8 November 2011 (UTC)
I'm stalking you. Don't turn around... ;) rpeh •TCE 18:18, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Dark Seducer Weapons Bug[edit]

I just thought I'd bring this conversation to your attention in case you're making any further changes to the USIP at any point. It's possible you've already addressed the issue in a later USIP than I have (no time right now to track down and install the most recent version <g>), but just in case you haven't, I thought I'd let you know. Bug Template[edit]

Hi Kivan. Since you and Arthmoor will probably be the ones getting the most use out of it, can I direct your attention to this discussion. The gist of what I'm proposing is to switch the default state for a bug from "confirmed" to "unconfirmed", and then you would have to add a parameter to indicate that the bug really is confirmed. In so doing, though, I would reset all current bugs to be marked as unconfirmed (unless already marked as fixed). Robin Hoodtalk 02:27, 21 March 2012 (UTC)

I don't know how much time I'd be able to devote to it, but I'd flag them if I saw them. I'll be doing a lot of editing here once the USKP is stabilized and the majority of the work done, but that won't be for months. Kivan 02:34, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
Actually, I was thinking of it more with you being the consumer. At any point, I can produce an Excel sheet listing every bug on the wiki and whether or not they've been confirmed. I assume you'll want to focus on the "confirmed" ones, which usually means there's more than one person reporting the issue. Right now, I think the confirmed/unconfirmed status is in chaos because the default is that it's "confirmed" (which is often not actually the case). Robin Hoodtalk 03:17, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
Sure... that would be excellent as it would also save me having to hunt them all down individually here. I think my e-mail is accessible from my profile. Kivan 11:48, 24 March 2012 (UTC)

USKP[edit]

Hi Kivan, I'm just working on the Unofficial Skyrim Patch page and in searching around, I noticed a couple of issues on the Baldurdash website. First, the Skyrim patch isn't linked to from the homepage. Second, the link and version number in http://baldurdash.org/TESSkyrim/TESSkyrim.html are for the Oblivion fix version, not the Skyrim one. Looking forward to using it! Good job, as always. Robin Hoodtalk 21:53, 10 April 2012 (UTC)

Leveled Lists[edit]

I was just part way through creating a page and I noticed what are (I think) missing enchantments, anyhow they are here and here. There also appears to be an excess of lists (like here which are all the same. Didn't know where else to report them! Thanks! --kiz talkemail 15:41, 7 May 2012 (UTC)
