Welcome![edit]
Hello Igor van Dame! Welcome to UESPWiki. It's always good to have new members. If you would like to help improve any of our pages, you may want to take a look at the following links:
- Policies and Guidelines: UESPWiki standards and expectations
- Help Contents: a list of in-depth Help pages
- Quick Editing Guide: a quick guide to wiki markup
- Getting Started: how you can help
If you would like to spice up your userpage, click here for a list of userboxes you can use, including a guide to making your own.
When you're editing, it's always a good idea to leave edit summaries to explain the changes you have made to a particular page, and remember to sign your talk page posts with four tildes ~~~~. Also, the "show preview" button is a great way to view the changes you've made so far without actually saving the page (our patrollers really appreciate it!).
Feel free to practice editing in the sandbox or discuss the games in the forums. If you need any help, don't hesitate to contact one of our mentors. Have fun! ~ Dwarfmp (talk) 03:38, 4 April 2013 (GMT)
Image cats[edit]
You can add the image cats when you upload them by putting the category link in the summary section of the upload page. :P Just thought you should know! Jeancey (talk) 19:03, 8 May 2013 (GMT)

- And of course the one I checked had added it to the Licensing section, so that is what I did. Move them if that is an issue Igor van Dame (talk) 19:11, 8 May 2013 (GMT)
IP edits[edit]
Are you editing your sandbox as an IP, and are you allowing that sandbox to be edited by anyone? Either way let me know, or go back before the IPs edits and revert them. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 18:33, 17 May 2013 (GMT)
Show Preview[edit]
Can you please remember to use the show preview button at the bottom of the page when editing your sandboxes? A lot of the edits you've been making probably could have been done in one go, and each edit you make needs to be patrolled, which is kind of a hassle. Thanks! Arena Maps[edit]
Hi, I just noticed that you play/document Arena, nice that someone does that. I'm a bit curious how you created the inn map. Is that just from a screenshot of the local map, or generated from game data? Because currently I'm looking into a way to generate maps for all the towns and cities. Screenshots and pasting them together for all of them would be quite a bit of work, something automated might be better. And another thing, until recently the Arena place page claimed that town maps are generated randomly, but that is not my experience (after finding the same maps for my own character and for save games provided from here). Do you have any insights into this? Personally I think that may have been confused with Daggerfall. --Alfwyn (talk) 13:56, 6 March 2014 (GMT)

- First, I'm glad to hear others are interested in improving the Arena section of UESP. I just came back to this project after being away for 9 months and did not see many changes, so I assumed I was still alone in my project. I apologize for never formalizing the project per se, which would answer some of your questions. All my info is from screen shots. I too have a ton of town images already made and recently re-installed and created new characters for all provinces to help in gathering the info needed for the 256 towns. I'm working on completing the descriptions of the Inns, Temples, and Store interiors as well as general 'Town_Guides' located outside the buildings before I start rolling out the towns. I am often on the irc channel, and that would be a better place to discuss our working together.Igor van Dame
