I'm a swede currently working night shift in China. I have a customer warranty/support mission here and with a more or less flawless product, my work is of the "Slacker" nature. That makes me editing and patrolling UESP by night and playing Oblivion and Skyrim in daytime, using UESP as a dictionary for a myriad of ingame reasons.
I'm not by any means a patroller but I continuosly find myself patrolling. I guess it is a good start to "get the hang of it" and it is a great way of gaining experience to avoid creating more mess than cleaning up. I ocassionaly make bigger edits if I am comfident enough about my sake but most of the edits is correcting grammar, reversing vandalism, cleaning and polishing.
Most of the time when I really feel for editing something, I constantly find myself start a debate in the talk page rather than kicking in the door with two butcher knifes and start hacking and slashing an article to pieces. Walking the thin line without stepping on other editors toes or accidentally offending them can be quite tricky sometimes. But one thing is for sure, I am more prone to "undo" or edit out doubtful changes that is made without a proper "note" with a real reason.
