Kelebriel Sindri is a member of House Sindri whose patriarch is rumored to have been a Dwemer blacksmith who married a travelling Altmer scholar and, settled in Alinor prior to the War of the First Council and the disappearance of the Dwemer.

Kelebriel became fascinated with Dwemer history, culture and technology during his travels in Skyrim while a scholar of the Restoration School of the College of Winterhold. It was because of this fascination that he purchased a modest residence in Markarth and undertook training in the craft of blacksmithing in Whiterun during month-long sabbaticals away from the college in hopes of replicating Dwemer smithing techniques.

During his travels through Greenshade, he adopted and raised Dar'Khaphe.
