Arena quests[edit]
Should it be noted that a number of arena (Pit) quests were going to be added, but did not make it to the final game? They're not fully developed, but there is some info there, and at least one related, nonexistent NPC has some dialogue regarding it. Vely►Talk►Email 23:28, 12 April 2012 (UTC)
- Sure, I guess, could you point me towards any pages related to it please? (Eddie The Head 06:20, 13 April 2012 (UTC))

- Liesl, Pit Fan, Brond, Edorfin--they all have related dialogue. There's a ton of blank quests, most starting with ArenaCombatQuest, then there's ArenaCrowdQuest, ArenaWagerFighterQuest, and EastmarchArenaJalFightQuest. No scenes, no quest updates, etc. in the quest info. Notably, Alain Dufont was going to be in one of those quests, but he has no related dialogue. There are a few other NPCs involved, such as "Fellow Prisoner", but that one's been turned into a redirect to a nonexistent page section. Vely►Talk►Email 15:20, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

- Fellow Prisoner? Sounds like a sort of Gladiator style thing (you know, they used slaves in the fights), so my guess is you are taken prisoner to fight in it, and then become the best fighter and get released? Probably not, I'll start it in my Sandbox and start it tomorrow (actually looking at the clock, it'll really just be later today lol), feel free to edit the sandbox though. Also, could you check out this quest for me and tell if it's actually start able or if I can safely add it to the page? (Eddie The Head 16:46, 13 April 2012 (UTC))
- A pretty lame start but like I said, feel free to edit it. (Eddie The Head 16:58, 13 April 2012 (UTC))

- I'm not certain how to tell whether or not a quest is available in the game, but Aela is the questgiver and is flagged with D, which I think means Disabled, and it has nothing in the Event column (whereas other CR0# quests have Script Event), so I'm 90% certain it's unavailable.

- All the flags on the summary screen are noted at the top right once you open the Alias screen. The D flag is the "Stores Text" checkbox on the full screen. Looking around the quest, it looks to me like the SamplePelt Alias is broken. It seems it was supposed to generate a random type of pelt to be looked for, but I don't think it does anything useful at all. My understanding of how quests work is improving, but it's by no means complete at this point, so it's possible I'm just misunderstanding. – Robin Hood↝talk 20:06, 13 April 2012 (UTC)

- My laptop broke, just got it fixed, any way it looks good, however I'm unsure as to whether the dialogue should be on the page? (Eddie The Head 14:39, 21 April 2012 (UTC))

(←) I'm unsure but placed it there in case it was wanted. It gives us some more insight on the Pit, though. Vely►Talk►Email 14:46, 21 April 2012 (UTC)
Boethiah's Bidding starting[edit]
- Discussion moved from Skyrim talk:Falk Firebeard#Broken Quest?
I used a bloodcursed arrow added in Dawnguard in Solitude and when I went to the Blue Palace three of the guards attacked me (NPC's I've helped fought them too) and I didn't get a bounty for killing them. I talked to Falk and he had a new Dialogue choice "What's wrong with the Jarl?" to which he replies "She's telling everyone she's sick. But she's really locked herself in her room because she fears an assassin is out to get her." Then I get two more options the first one is "Assassins? Really? That's ridiculous. Who would want to kill her?" and the second is "Maybe she'd feel safer with a personal bodyguard? I could do that" choosing the first option makes him say "I know. The poor girl's fright has left her bereft of reason. But there's no talking her out of it. I fear she'll be locked in there for days." then it comes up with only second option which makes him say "I bet she would feel safer. And hopefully you wouldn't have to baby sit her for long. Once she calms down, she might start thinking straight again. Let's go talk with her. Stay Close. Talk of assassins has the guards jumpy, they might attack you if you're not standing near me." But he doesn't move or anything and the Jarl is still on her throne. Is this a broken quest or something? Note: I'm playing on Xbox, Her housecarl is still alive, I haven't done any civil war quests and I'm thane of Solitude. --ZinnLav (talk) 16:23, 5 April 2013 (GMT)
- Yes, you've somehow managed to start the removed-from-game (but still-in-data) quest, Boethiah's Bidding. It shouldn't have been possible, and you'll have to load a save well before you encountered this to restore the game, hopefully. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 03:00, 6 May 2013 (GMT)

- I just started this quest somehow too.... I attacked some guards, and actually attacked everyone, including Elisif. In one of those, "high relationship rank mixed with essential characters semi-resetting when they get back up" things, Falk returned to non-hostile, and had the same dialogue. Unfortunately, one of the other thanes got back up and didn't reset to non-hostile and attacked me, which caused Elisif and Falk to attack me again, so I couldn't pursue it. 24.200.26.45 14:58, 17 September 2013 (GMT)
- EDIT: Just replicated the results. It seems like attacking the guards is irrelevant. It was attacking Elisif herself that made the dialogue option appear. I did exactly this: Killed foreign envoys (inconsequential npc's addon); killed all guards, but avoiding killing/attacking any thanes; talked to Falk (no special dialogue); attacked Elisif until she went down, but then immediately sheathed my weapons so Falk and others would not be hostile (I've done quests for Falk, and Sybille, which helps them forgive me); talked to Falk, dialogue appeared. It didn't go anywhere though. He said to go to her room, but she's not there, she's on the throne. Background on my character, in case it should matter: Sybille quest done (kill vampire), Potema quests done, in the middle of Erikur's quest (but not turned in), did Elisif's quest, am Thane. 24.200.26.45 14:58, 17 September 2013 (GMT)

College of winterhold: Filling soul gems[edit]
Hey I don't know how to do edits on here but I just wanted to add some info about this supposedly unfinished quest. The wiki states that this quest cannot be started and there is no reward for completion, neither of which are true. Sergius WILL give you this mission after you have completed the mission where you need to bring him a ring (to be enchanted) from one of the commonfolk out in skyrim. When that was completed, I asked him if there was any more college crap that I could assist him with and Sergius asked me to bring him three grand soul gems. I had them on me so as soon as we finished the convo I handed them over. He gave a small monetary reward in exchange. (After that the option to ask to help him with another menial task appears, this time he asked me to go get another item that needed enchanting). Possibly important side-info, did all of this after I became arch Mage, playing on ps3 on the latest updated patch of game 69.125.205.29 18:23, 17 February 2014 (GMT)sleast
- No, you're thinking of this quest, where you have to bring him empty soul gems. The unfinished quest asks for you to fill soul gems for him, not get him more. --Rook (talk) 18:51, 17 February 2014 (GMT)

- rook he took filled soul gems from me for sure ( those were the only kind I had on me). It seemed exactly like this unfinished quest, but the two are almost identical IMHO, could be a bug involved in the "finished" quest. Going to try to reload save and see if I can reproduce it 69.125.205.29 19:49, 19 February 2014 (GMT)sleast
