No Conversation Option

Quest is difficult to obtain

Over multiple playthroughs, I have yet to obtain this quest. Regardless of how much or how little content Ive completed, this quest never seems to come up for this wikier. You get the quest by followgin Falion and speaking to him... it's not really a quest, per se.Vainamoinen -Talk -Stuff 00:18, 11 September 2015 (UTC)

Does the Jarl ever confront him succesfully?

This article currently says that the scene of the Jarl confronting Falion "may not" happen - which implies that sometimes it will happen. However, the main Falion article claims that the confrontation dialogue is always unused. Which is correct?

In my game, I tried it twice, at different times of day. Both times, immediately after I told Sorli, Sorli and her housecarl left Highmoon Hall and went to Falion's house, but never confronted him. On my second attempt, I tried punching Falion once to turn him hostile, just to see if that would do anything. Sorli and her housecarl ran around in his house and gave the "somebody's fighting" lines, but nothing else happened; when he became non-hostile, she just went and stood near him again.
