Kerah, taking down that merchant was a waste of our time! He had nothing but what appears to be useless clutter. The axe refuses to hold an edge when put against the Grindstone, the glowing shield is weak and malleable and the other pieces are just as fruitless!

Get plenty of rest before darkness falls. Tomorrow, you and I will set off for Solitude. We need to evaluate the worth of these items. Surely they must not be worthless?
