Traelius Jeanard is a feral vampire wandering in the swamp west of Morthal. He is a guaranteed way to contract Sanguinare Vampiris, intended as a way to quickstart the Dreams in Darkness quest.

If you try to talk to him, he will greet you with "Ghh... Ugh..."; then if you ask him "Are you alright" he will reply "Ghh... Blood.. Need... Blood!" and initiate combat. He is otherwise not aggressive and can be simply ignored if you do not wish to become a vampire.
