In light of the sudden and disturbing increase in vampiric activity, our small numbers are simply not enough to fight this scourge.
I plan to take my bodyguards and top warriors and head to Dawnstar - my old mentor, Father Jacob, has his own base of operations in a ravine nearby. With luck, I will return shortly with a large host of trained warriors to help us face this scourge.
