Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
- I got your letter. And I have a new companion for your golden friend right here.
- "This is great! Wow, thanks!
You're going to love it here. We have a lot of fun, and we look out for each other. Just like any family. Thanks! Here - this is for you."
At this point you are given the Key to Mila's strong box and Mila's Note on Very Secret Treasure. To get to the strong box, you have to step out the door of Dragonsreach and go around to the right and follow the wall back.

I received a letter from Mila Valentia. I should read what it has to say. |

Mila Valentia in Whiterun wrote me a letter saying that the goldfish I brought her needs a companion. I should bring her another goldfish whenever the opportunity arises. |

I brought Mila another goldfish. I should follow her to the trough where she will keep them. |

Mila's goldfish now has a new companion. In exchange, she gave me a note and a key. I should see what the note has to say. |

Mila's note mentions that she keeps "treasure" in a secret hiding place where she likes to play behind Dragonreach. It's likely just things she's found around Whiterun, but I should check just to be certain. |

Finishes quest |
I brought Mila Valentia another goldfish. In exchange, she gave me the key to her treasure box at her hiding spot behind Dragonsreach. I was surprised to discover that she has collected a set of rare alchemy ingredients. |
- The following empty quest stages were omitted from the table: 0, 30, 40, 50.
Notes
- Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g.,
<Alias=LocationHold>
) is dynamically set by the Radiant Quest system, and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
- If an entry is marked as "Finishes Quest" it means the quest disappears from the Active Quest list, but you may still receive new entries for that quest.
- On the PC, it is possible to use the console to advance through the quest by entering
setstage ccBGSSSE001_Misc_WhiterunPartTwo stage
, where stage
is the number of the stage you wish to complete. It is not possible to un-complete (i.e. go back) quest stages, but it is possible to clear all stages of the quest using resetquest ccBGSSSE001_Misc_WhiterunPartTwo
.
