Arniel's Shade

Arniel's Shade, a Breton sorcerer, is the ghost of Arniel Gane created when you use the spell Summon Arniel's Shade. He has the same dialogue as reanimated zombies. Arniel favors Destruction magic, and may cast the following spells in combat: Sparks, Lightning Bolt, Chain Lightning, Fireball, Banish Daedra, and Heal Other.

He wears adept robes of Alteration along with an adept hood and a pair of boots.

Arniel's Shade has some high-level fixed skill levels. He has 100 in Destruction and Illusion, 97 in One-handed and Heavy Armor, and 66 in Restoration. His skill in One-handed and Heavy Armor are pointless, as he never equips a weapon or any armor. His magical skills differ significantly from when he was alive. Notably, his skill in Conjuration has fallen from 84 to 25, and his Restoration has fallen from 84 to 66. He has positively gained in Destruction and Illusion (going from 15 and 20 respectively, to 100).

He has the exact same schedule as his living counterpart (sleep from 4am to noon, visit Phinis Gestor for three hours from 8pm, and idle in his room), which he may follow if you summon him within the College of Winterhold grounds, but will be ignored outside the college.
