1. Talk to Porliss Caith in Snowline.
2. Talk to Tanyin Aldwyr and refuse her mission.
3. Return to Porliss.

Detailed Walkthrough

The Argonian's Request

Porliss Caith is standing outside the uninhabited house in Snowline. If you talk to him he will tell you his suspicions about Tanyin Aldwyr, calling her loyalties most "un-Redguardian". He wants you to find out what she wants, turn it down and then return.

Picking Sides

Tanyin is standing about 10 paces east. If you talk to her she will offer you a quest of her own. You can take it, but will then be unable to complete this one. If you turn it down, return to Porliss with your information.

Words of Thanks

Porliss is grateful, although only has words with which to pay you. Nevertheless you receive 1,000XP for probably the quickest quest in the game.

Notes

• If you do this quest, you cannot do the Tanyin Goblin Raid quest.
