Districts[edit]
I am working on the list of all residents of Eyevea (here) and for that I need exact names of different parts of the island. The ones I used on the page come from the portals in the guildhall. Any suggestions, critique, comments are welcome. ~ Shuryard (talk) 01:03, 9 February 2015 (GMT)
- Using the portals in the guildhall sounds like a good plan to me :) --Enodoc (talk) 11:38, 9 February 2015 (GMT)
Wayshrine bug[edit]
Not sure if the non-appearance of the wayshrine on the map is actually a "bug" or an intended feature. I can confirm that it is the case that it only appears on the map while you're there, so we can lose the vn, but perhaps it should be turned into a Note. --Enodoc (talk) 09:23, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
- Seems like a very weird feature to me, but I'm fine with just noting it. —Legoless (talk) 16:16, 16 March 2016 (UTC)

- Oh yeah, it's definitely weird and there have been many calls on the forums for them to change it. I imagine it's set up like this though so that it's not possible for someone to use /traveltoplayer to get to these two places without having completed the unlock quest. --Enodoc (talk) 16:31, 16 March 2016 (UTC)
Map Link[edit]
I think we sould display the link to the map, simply because it is useful and it is a placing one would expect a maplink. With the zoom factor we use, for all the bigger cities we already show the city, and not where the city is located on the bigger map. --Alfwyn (talk) 01:02, 7 February 2020 (GMT)
- The map link exists to show where the location is situated on a map. Daggerfall's map link shows where Daggerfall is on the Glenumbra map, it doesn't go to the map of Daggerfall. Since Eyevea is not displayed on a map, we should not have a "view on map" link, as that would be inconsistent with the use of that parameter. However I would not be opposed to a different link (which could also be used elsewhere) that takes you to the map of the location itself. Although we already include the map (when it exists) on the page itself, so one or other of those may be redundant. --Enodoc (talk) 17:42, 9 February 2020 (GMT)

Zone[edit]
With Eyevea's addition to the Aurbis map in Update 42, I've taken the liberty to upgrade it to a full zone. Its status as "unzoned" was always a quick fix for wiki categorisation purposes, given it was previously a location split between alliances. There's still work to be done integrating the Gold Road info with the main article, but hopefully I've caught all the unzoned changeover work. —Legoless (talk) 14:21, 9 June 2024 (UTC)
- Sounds good. With the aurbis giving it a circle and the wayshrine now being a proper two-way ticket, its now on equal status with the other zones. The Rim of the Sky (talk) 23:48, 9 June 2024 (UTC)

- Post-Gold Road, you can now teleport to Eyevea via traveling to a player who has it unlocked regardless of your Mages Guild progress (or if you even have the skill line). Tested this with a friend - teleporting in this way without Mages Guild's questline completed teleports you into the quest instance, separate from your friend, and unlocks the wayshrine. This method, however, leaves you unable to do anything within it until you reach that portion of the questline. Jaqalope (talk) 19:19, 17 June 2024 (UTC)
