Help Olorime save Cloudrest
Z'Maja, a powerful Sload sorceress, has filled the city of Cloudrest with an unnatural shadow which saps the life of all it touches. I've agreed to help Olorime defeat Z'Maja and save the city.
<or>
I've discovered the remaining chain of Z'Maja's amulet after defeating her. This may be useful to the Welkynars.

I've discovered Z'Maja's amulet after defeating her, though it's severely damaged. This may be useful to the Welkynars.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to Olorime inside the city of Cloudrest.
  2. Explore Cloudrest Aerie and defeat Z'Maja.
  3. Speak to Olorime to conclude the quest.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Olorime needs assistance. She is a member of the Welkynars, an order of Gryphon knights. Her order captured a Sea Sload sorceress named Z'Maja, who recently covered Cloudrest in a blanket of shadow, killing its inhabitants and raising their shadows to serve her. She is holding the other three Welkynars and their gryphon mounts captive. Olorime needs your help to defeat Z'Maja, save her companions and free Cloudrest from the Sload's grasp.

If you fail to get the quest from Olorime at the start of the trial, the quest can still be received by looting Z'Maja's corpse. On normal, you will receive the Z'Maja's Amulet Chain to show to Olorime.

<Z'Maja's amulet has shattered, and only its chain remains. It's useless to you, but may be valuable to one who wishes to learn more about Z'Maja's magic.>
I should bring this artifact to Olorime so that she can examine it.

On veteran, you will receive Z'Maja's Shattered Amulet.

<Z'Maja's amulet has cracked and is no longer able to summon shadows. It's useless to you, but may be valuable to one who wishes to learn more about Z'Maja's magic.>
I should bring this artifact to Olorime so that she can examine it.

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
