The Troll Gatekeeper is a troll and the first miniboss faced in the Hunter's Grotto. It must be defeated to progress.

- Slap
- A basic melee attack that deals moderate physical damage.
- Rip
- A basic melee attack that deals moderate physical damage.
- Rock Toss
- Basic ranged attack which deals moderate physical damage.
- Boulder Toss
- The troll grabs a large rock on the ground and tosses it at a target, dealing high damage and knocking down targets in the area of impact.
- Tremor
- The troll pounds the ground in front of itself three times, indicated by a red circle, dealing high physical damage with the first two hits, and slightly more with the last hit.
- Swinging Cleave
- The troll swings both arms in front of itself, indicated by a red cone, dealing high physical damage.
