The Swarm Mother

Swarm Mother is a big spider found inside Spindleclutch I. It is also the namesake of the Swarm Mother set, style, and the basis of a trophy and bust.

Skills and Abilities

As a boss type enemy, Swarm Mother is immune to all forms of crowd control effects.

Bite

A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.

Inject Poison

A heavy melee attack that does high poison damage followed by minor poison damage over time. This attack should be blocked if possible.

Arachnid Leap: The boss jumps on targets that are far away from it, dealing moderate poison damage. Stay near the boss to prevent this.

Summon Spiders

Occasionally, the boss will summon a group of spiders to attack the party. These should be killed quickly to simplify the fight.

Impeding Webs

The boss spits a web on top of a player snaring all players within as indicated by a red circle.
