Dialogue[edit]
If your character is an Argonian:
- "I told Chief Gloorot that this was a cursed location, but he wouldn't listen. No one ever listens to old Shab.
Say, you're one of those Argonians, aren't you? I never met an honest-to-Malacath lizard before."
If your character is an Orc:
- "I told Chief Gloorot that this was a cursed location, but he wouldn't listen. No one ever listens to old Shab.
Say, what clan are you from? I don't recognize you."
For other races:
- "I told Chief Gloorot that this was a cursed location, but he wouldn't listen. No one ever listens to old Shab."
Before the Exile's Barrow objective is complete:
- This is a cursed location?
- "What else would you call it? We're so close to Exile's Barrow that we woke up the dead!
And let me tell you, there's nothing worse than waking up dead Nords. Nords get even more irritable after they're dead!" - What can you tell me about Exile's Barrow?
- "Some exiled Nords came to our land centuries ago and built the barrow to honor their powerful skald king. Or was he a conquering warlord? A renegade necromancer? I never remember that part!
Anyway, whoever he was, they buried him in the barrow." - Is it common for the Nords to build barrows in Wrothgar?
- "This is the only one, as far as I know. The place has always been forbidden, and most Orcs prefer to avoid tombs full of dead bodies anyway.
I contend that our proximity to the barrow agitated the Nords and woke them up. That's the only explanation!"
- "This is the only one, as far as I know. The place has always been forbidden, and most Orcs prefer to avoid tombs full of dead bodies anyway.
After the objective is complete:
- "The exile was a dragon priest? Well, that explains everything! And you killed him?
As long as you're sure he won't be causing us anymore trouble … but wasn't he dead before you killed him? I just hope he stays that way this time!"
