Queen Palolel in Abagarlas

Queen Palolel was an Ayleid bonelord and the wife of Anumaril, the king of the Molag Bal-worshiping city-state of Abagarlas. When intruders from the fellow city of Delodiil invaded Abagarlas to destroy the Mortuum Vivicus, she stayed behind, along with her son Malyon, to protect it with her life. Following her death at the hands of Ostarand, Molag Bal took ownership over her spirit.

Related Quests[edit]

Skills and Abilities[edit]

In Abagarlas, she uses all the abilities one would expect a Bonelord to use.

Summon Undead
Queen Palolel will summon a bone colossus or a flesh atronach.
Quick Strike
A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.
Entropic Bolt
A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage.
Closed Fist
The enemy casts a rune on the ground that activates after a while, rooting players who step in it. This attack does no damage and can be simply avoided. The root can be escaped by roll dodging. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance.

In the Earth Forge, she uses lich abilities, with the addition of one unique skill.

Palolel's Rage
Palolel glows purple and hits one target with a burst of magic that deals moderate Oblivion damage. This ability hits a single target, and if it lands, the target will be knocked back seven meters.
Necrotic Spear
A basic ranged attack that does minor magical damage, and can be blocked or dodged to reduce damage.
Defiled Ground
A rune that is cast on the ground, indicated by a red circle. Standing in it will snare the player and do moderate magical damage over time to him or her. Stay out of the red circle to avoid this.
Soul Cage
The lich will summon three to five lich crystals from the ground around it, as indicated by white cracks on the ground. Standing near the crystals as indicated by the red circles will do moderate magical damage over time to the player. This attack is always followed by Soul Rupture. Stay at range when this spell is cast to avoid the lich crystals.
Soul Rupture
After a short time, the crystals explode, dealing moderate magical damage to all players within the red circle. Getting hit by the exploding crystals will cause the player to be lifted above ground briefly; the player can break free from this.

Quest-Related Events[edit]

In Abagarlas, you can face her in person. While approaching Prince Malyon's location, you can hear her speaking to her son.

Queen Palolel: "My son, you must ensure I am not disturbed. Maintaining the final phase of the Mortuum Vivicus requires all of my concentration!"

When she detects you, she'll attack you.

Queen Palolel: "No! My sacred charge! Your life for the master!"

When killed, her spirit appears before you. Molag Bal subsequently drags her to Coldharbour.

Queen Palolel: "My death means nothing! The master will still destroy you!"
Queen Palolel: "Wait. What? No, my lord! I served you faithfully!"

Molag Bal later summons her at the Earth Forge as a lich:

Queen Palolel: "For the Lord of Brutality!"
