Urgarlag Chief-bane of the Undaunted has challenged me to explore Bal Sunnar.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Enter Bal Sunnar.
   • Optional: Enter Dungeon in Veteran Mode.
2. Kill Kovan Giryon.
3. Kill Roksa the Warped.
4. Kill Matriarch Lladi Telvanni.

   You can only complete the Death Challenge in Veteran Mode.

   • Defeat Matriarch Lladi Telvanni after placing the challenge banner.
5. Return to Urgarlag Chief-bane at any Undaunted Enclave.

Speak to Urgarlag Chief-bane to get the details of this quest.

"Bal Sunnar. Some Telvanni Dark Elves built a town tucked away in the Stonefalls mountains. Word is that those strange wizards have decided to play around with time.
Sounds to me like it's time to kick the door in and find out what they're up to."

And if I can handle more than that?

"The leader of those arrogant spellslingers has a reputation for abusing powerful artifacts. No matter the consequences.
Raise the Undaunted banner, then show her what time it really is."

I pledge to enter Bal Sunnar and return Undaunted.

Once you have accepted the quest, you can enter the Bal Sunnar dungeon either by accessing the dungeon through the Dungeon Finder, or heading to Stonefalls and entering the dungeon there with a group. You have the choice of entering the normal dungeon or the veteran version, this choice will affect if you can achieve the optional step and your rewards.

When inside the dungeon, you will need to progress through the dungeon, slaying the following bosses, Kovan Giryon, Roksa the Warped and Matriarch Lladi Telvanni. With the last boss, if you are in the veteran dungeon, you have the option of placing the challenge banner to put the boss in hard mode, provided you have placed the challenge banner on every prior boss that has it available.

Once you have completed the task, you can return to Urgarlag Chief-bane at any of the Undaunted Enclaves, and speak with her to complete the quest:

Yes. I've completed the dungeon.

"Who can trust anyone that wants to play around with time? We've got enough to deal with here and now.
I don't even think about the past! Once I've made a decision, there's no looking back. And Undaunted don't worry about the future."

Veteran mode completed	"The word's out—you put the fear into those Telvanni. Chasing them through the past and future before crushing everything they built? That's the true Undaunted way! Here's your reward. Now take some time for yourself."
Veteran Hard Mode completed	"Those Telvanni—such sneaky little worms. Always creeping around in the shadows, whispering to each other about their plans for breaking the world. Good thing you decided to break them instead. Here's your reward, Undaunted."

Notes

• Prior to Update 41, completing this quest with Normal or Veteran mode would award 1 Undaunted Key, and 2 Keys on Veteran Hard Mode.
