The Ogre Gatekeeper is an ogre and the third miniboss faced inside the Hunter's Grotto. It is accompanied by two red dire wolves, and must be killed to progress.

A basic melee attack that deals low physical damage.

Backhand

A basic melee attack that deals low physical damage.

Smash

The ogre smashes its target with its fist, dealing moderate physical damage and snaring for one second. This can be blocked.

Shockwave

The ogre stomps the ground in front of itself, indicated by a red cone, dealing moderate physical damage and stunning targets for 4 seconds, though Break Free can be used.

Intimidating Roar

The ogre yells, causing nearby targets to cower in fear for a few seconds, though Break Free can be used. Their damage is also increased temporarily afterward.

Notes

• Although it has the appearance of an ogre caster, it doesn't use any magical abilities.
