Captain Ageran,

I implore you, stop investigating the disappearances so … loudly. If word gets out that miners are disappearing, the town will panic. You know how superstitious the workers are.

I am sure a logical explanation will surface soon. If you must continue this, can we at least speak privately about how you may do so subtly? Meet me in the caverns behind town to talk about a reasonable plan of action. I would invite you to my office but, again, discretion is of the utmost importance. Let's not attract any more attention than we already have.
