Quest-Related Events[edit]
Pursuing the Shard[edit]
Loic has things to say when you first enter the party.
- "I don't believe I've ever seen you at any of Hosni's parties.
I'm sorry this one had to be your first." - What's the story with this place?
- "Everyone's always excited to receive an invitation from Count Hosni. He's always thrown the best parties.
But this one is different. Something's going on. Guests have disappeared. And now the guards won't let me leave." - What do you mean?
- "The guards stopped me when I tried to go out the gate. They were quite rude. One of them said, "It's not your time to leave yet, my lord. And when you leave, you'll be carried out."
I didn't like the sound of that. Not at all."
Saving Hosni[edit]
After you free Hosni from the Omen of Blood, you can speak to Loic before speaking to Hosni:
- "What in Oblivion is going on in the manor?
I'd go see myself, but, well—I'm frightened."
He makes his final comments when the problems with Count Hosni have been resolved.
- "We're going to be allowed to leave, aren't we?
It's over. I can tell."
