Llivas Gadar is a Dark Elf who can be found in Wretched Spire. Llivas was in Mournhold when Mehrunes Dagon attacked the city in the first era and was transported to the Deadlands along with a good portion of the city.

Quest-Related Events

Along the northern road out of Wretched Spire, you'll come across a lone dunmer:

"Just dreadful! First, Daedra invade the sanctity of Wretched Spire, where they are not wanted. Then just now I saw one of them, Tephilaz, die in the street!
I have suffered those creatures enough to know they do not just die. Someone murdered him."

Why would someone murder this Daedra?

"Perhaps you are new to our dismal town. When the Daedra arrived, the decent residents like myself wished them gone. But they remain nonetheless.
I heard rumors of a possible treaty. But we must make them leave! Certainly they can't kill us all."

What do you plan to do?

"Me? Do? Oh, no. I plan to stay far away in case events do get violent. I have no wish to battle against Daedra!
If you want to help, speak to a Dremora named Noroth. I suspect he plans to hunt for the murderer and will pay a reward for assistance."

I'll join Noroth in hunting down the culprit.

"Such a brave one you are. I hope you do solve the Daedra's murder. All I have left is in that filthy town. I would hate to see it burn.
You will find Noroth on the eastern side of Wretched Spire. You cannot miss him standing over a dead Daedra."

Tell me more about Wretched Spire.

"As I say, it is a town covered in dirt and grime with little to recommend it.
The only quality in its favor is how Mehrunes Dagon completely ignores it. Never invades with his creatures or blasts it with a fireball. No idea why, but it's welcomed."

How did the town get its name?

"You will see once you enter town. Some time ago, Dagon caused havoc in my home of Mournhold. Ripped our temple right out of the ground and flung it here. And I came along with it.
I miss the old city. Much nicer than here. Deadlands, indeed!"

Why are you outside of town?

"I like to get away from all those people from time to time. Sure, I understand it can get quite dangerous out here. But, if Ruldzara forces me to listen to any more inane gossip then I will scream.
Death by firestorm almost seems preferable."

What can you tell me about Noroth?

"Look, all Daedra seem odd to me. And they do not belong in Wretched Spire. But if I had to offer a preference, Noroth seems the most acceptable. He wants life to stay exactly the same, and I agree.
