Quick Walkthrough[edit]
- Talk to King Fahara'jad.
- Optional: Ask Gabrielle Benele to open a portal to Bangkorai.
- Find the stables in Evermore.
- Talk to Ramza.
Detailed Walkthrough[edit]
Once you have restored the Ansei Wards, King Fahara'jad wants you to go and help out in Bangkorai. He has a spy in the city to keep him informed of news—the stablehand Ramza—and the news is not good: the King of Evermore is dead, and the province is under attack from multiple directions but most particularly an apparent attack from the Reach. You can make your own way there, or have Gabrielle Benele can open a portal right there.
You can talk to Ramza to finish this quest, technically. However, since the portal opens right on the bridge leading in from Stormhaven, you will have to walk past Sergeant Antieve at the checkpoint to get into the city - and since talking him to him is basically what Ramza will tell you to do, and since there is already a quest arrow over his head, you may as well talk to Antieve right away.
Notes[edit]
- This quest is only offered if you have not yet started A City in Black in Bangkorai.

- Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
- Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
