Ingjard is a Nord hunter who can be found at the camp in Hordrek's Hunting Grounds. She is camping with her son Steirvald and his husband Ottolf.
Dialogue[edit]
If you talk to her, she will explain why they are camping.
- "The critters around here are unusually skittish. I'm growing wary of what it is they're afraid of."
- What are you doing out here?
- "My boy married a miller's son. He's a soft lad. Never spent a night under the open sky."
- You don't approve?
- "Nords are fighters. I come from a long line of trappers and hunters. We're no warriors, but we battle nature itself. There's glory in that, I say.
I'll not shame a man who brings bread to the table, but he should be able to cut more than wheat." - How is that going?
- "I thought it'd do him some good to learn how to live off the land as our ancestors did.
He begs to differ."
When the Hordrek and his pack spawn, Ingjard will throw herself between them and her son. While you fight the pack, she will cheer you on.
After defeating the werewolf pack.
- "Thank you for saving us from those monsters. I'm beginning to question my fondness for living outdoors."
- Are you all right?
- "Only wounded my pride. My boy and my son-by-Mara are unharmed. That's all that matters."
- What are you doing out here?
- "My boy married a miller's son. He's a soft lad. Never spent a night under the open sky."
- You don't approve?
- "I didn't. I was determined to make real Nords out of them both. Teach them to live off the land as our ancestors did. Instead I nearly got us all killed.
Ottolf loves my son. That should've been more than enough for my approval."
