Quest-Related Events[edit]
After picking up Edrien's pipe during the related quest, Edrien's ghost will appear to request your aid, saying, "I'm glad you're helping Alexia. Will you help me as well?"
When you speak to him, he will explain the nature of his request:
- "Come, mortal. Do a favor for this poor weary spirit."
- I'll help you, but I need to get your pipe to your daughter. She thinks it will bring her comfort.
- "My daughter is lost to her grief. How could she send you here, to a haunt of vile cultists, to retrieve a pipe? Sheer folly.
She should have something of real value, something that will allow her to move on." - What do you suggest?
- "For years, I've been hiding gold under a tree southwest of the lighthouse. Dig it up and give it to my daughter.
Then she needs to go to my brother in Crosswych. There she can start anew."
After informing you of the location of his gold, Edrien's ghost disappears.
