Duke Sebastien is a Breton and the exiled leader of Camlorn. He has a temporary command in Aldcroft where he spends time with his wife, Lady Rielle, and his daughter, Nadine Rielle.

A Duke in Exile

You will find him bounded up both by ropes and magical presence. You will need to break the crystals to free him:

"You don't look like a Bloodthorn cultist. I assume this is a rescue attempt?"

I'll destroy the crystals.

Before you destroy the crystals:

"Destroy the focus crystals! I can't move while this binding spell holds me."

Free him and he'll say:

Duke Sebastien: "I'm free. Now to get out of here. But there's one more thing …."

He will ask you to free another prisoner that the Bloodthorns are holding before teleporting back to safety:

After freeing Gloria, you will speak to him inside the Duke's Temporary Command and he'll tell you:

"Here I am, safe and sound back in Aldcroft.
I have you to thank for that."

Have you spoken to Gloria?

"Yes, and I share her concerns about both Camlorn and Aldcroft. We must deal with these werewolves once and for all.
In fact, I hope to involve you in that."

Wolves in the Fold

If you decide to not pick up the quest and approach him, he will say:

"Ah, my rescuer returns."

Speaking to him:

"Gloria suspects Faolchu's agents are here among us, even now."

Werewolves? Here in Aldcroft?

"Indeed. They hide in human form. It's exactly what they did in Camlorn before they struck.
We need to find and destroy them before Aldcroft suffers the same fate as poor Camlorn."

How can I spot the hidden werewolves?

"Gloria says this amulet can be used to reveal the hidden werewolves. I'm sure she can tell you more about it."

If there are werewolves here, I'll find them.

Speaking to him again before talking to Gloria:

"Point the amulet at people in Aldcroft. It will reveal if someone is a werewolf or not.

How can I capture a live werewolf?

"Talk to Sergeant Armoil. His soldiers faced werewolves in Camlorn and they captured one of the beasts. He can advise you.
Then meet Gloria in the cave to the east, across the bay. That's where she'll perform the rite to learn how to defeat Faolchu."

I'll talk to Sergeant Armoil.

Speaking to him before you speak to Gloria:

"We can't let Faolchu's curse spread to Aldcroft. Do what you can to help Gloria.
I trust your abilities."

If you choose to let Gloria Fausta die so the Duke can be cured, you'll find him suffering in the upstairs bedroom with his wife and daughter by his side:

"I apologize—to all of you. I thought I could fight this off. I was wrong."

That was blood, wasn't it? You gave me Gloria's blood, didn't you? Just one more thing Faolchu must pay for."

If you choose to keep Gloria alive, you'll find her with Duke Sebastien outside his residence:

"I'm sorry. I should have told you. I thought I could fight it off.
I was wrong."

Your Grace, we know you have the curse.

"Yes, I quite understand. I ask but one favor. Let me say farewell to my wife and daughter. They're just inside. It will only take a moment.
Then you can do what you must."

Of course. I'll wait here for you to return.

"Delicious. Thank you."

No. I can't risk it. But I won't kill you. Gloria, capture him!

"Why, you heartless … I'll never see my family again!"

We'll continue to look for a way to cure you.

If you have Gloria capture him, you can explain to her that you spared him because the Duke will be needed.

In the case that the Duke was cured, he will ask you to head to the Glenumbra Moors to investigate the past of Faolchu:

The Fall of Faolchu

If you were able to cure the Duke, you can find him in Camlorn ^{[verification needed — see talk page]}:

"Gautier believes his son Darien is still alive inside the city.
If that's true, we can use it to our advantage—Darien is Camlorn's Captain of the Guard."

Once you defeat Faolchu and after speaking to Darien:

"We must rebuild Camlorn—and make Angof pay.
Of course, we can't just rush off to attack Angof. We need to prepare."

What will you do now?

"What any ruler should do. I'll serve my people.
I failed to defend Camlorn once. That won't happen again."

Angof is still out there.

"And I pray to Stendarr that you put a blade through his heart.
Give Angof what you gave Faolchu. Then maybe we can put this nightmare behind us and rebuild our lives."

In the case that Duke Sebastien was cured, he can be later met in Wayrest after you have saved High King Emeric and stopped the Supernal Dreamers' plans.
