- Complete the "Pyre of Ambition" quest in Blackwood.
Disaster Averter is awarded during the main quest in the Blackwood chapter for completing the Pyre of Ambition quest.
Earning this achievement will allow you to purchase the Deadlands Podium of Ruination (page) for your house. It costs 15,000 and can be purchased from Miraso Marvayn in Leyawiin.
