- Steal the treasures on Kari's Hit List from every territory of the Aldmeri Dominion and place them in the Thieves Den.
Despoil the Dominion is awarded for stealing each of the five items from the Aldmeri Dominion zones and bringing them to the Thieves Den in Abah's Landing. Each of the items can be identified by a glow around it, and a gold title. They are supposed to appear only after you have read Kari's Hit List at the Den, but it is possible to pick up the items on a character that hasn't read the book themselves when you have another character that has read the book. The items tend to be fairly well-guarded, so taking them without being seen can be a challenge. If you are arrested or killed by guards with one of them in your possession, it will be confiscated and returned to its original location.
The items and their locations are as follows:
- Auridon: Coronation Decanter of Prince Naemon - Skywatch Manor. This item can be found atop a small dresser on the first floor of the south wing, across from the fireplace. There are people around, but it's not too hard to grab this without being spotted.
- Grahtwood: Burial Mannequin of Calarthor Camoran - Elden Root Altmer Embassy. This item is at the end of the hallway to your left as you enter, underneath the stairs. It is in a person-sized urn labeled as "Sealed urn". There are a couple people who work around here, but the urn itself makes for effective cover. Even though it disappears when you loot the item, you generally won't be reported using this method.
- Greenshade: Treethane Niriel's "Living Plant-Wear" Book Set - Marbruk Mages Guild. This item is found on a table near the sleeping quarters upstairs. There are a couple people who mill around in this area, but you can usually find an opening when they're not looking. If you're caught, head for the portal to Eyevea if you've finished the Mages Guild quests, or else try and sneak out via the balcony exit.
- Malabal Tor: Tuneless Harp of Fiirgarion the Bard - Velyn Harbor Mages Guild. This item is on the counter at the back of the hall on the ground floor. By far the easiest time to pick it up is when you first arrive in the city and it's occupied by Drublog invaders. You'll probably have to kill a few of them, but there's zero chance of incurring a bounty. If you've already liberated the town, you may have to just grab it and run. Suitable escape routes are the portal to Eyevea, or jumping from the balconies upstairs. Note that one of the Outlaws Refuge entrances is immediately behind the guildhall.
- Reaper's March: Hairball Spittoon of Darloc Brae - Rawl'kha Mages Guild. This item is on a table outside. It is nearly impossible to grab it without being seen, as there are two or three people who hang around there, one of whom is usually sitting down looking right at it. Snatch-and-run seems to be the most expedient method. If you head to the north you should be able to avoid any guards.
