Lore talk:Vrage
Hjalmer[edit]
So where is in Lore:King Edward, Part X fact, that Vrage sscended after his brother death? --213.155.255.148 14:04, 1 June 2013 (GMT)
- The question isn't so much as to where in King Edward, but where at all. I searched here and the Imperial Library, and googled it. There are no sources for his name that I can find. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 14:25, 1 June 2013 (GMT)
- And from where you get the information about the succession and its date in the first place. --213.155.255.148 16:22, 1 June 2013 (GMT)
- The article Lore:First Era has this "Tamriel Timelines, The Daggerfall Chronicles — Ronald Wartow" as a source to Hjalmer. --213.155.255.148 16:24, 1 June 2013 (GMT)
- The Daggerfall Chronicles is, in fact, the source for this. I can confirm that. Jeancey (talk) 18:58, 1 June 2013 (GMT)
- Are The Daggerfall Chronicles somewhere available free in internet? --213.155.255.148 14:20, 3 June 2013 (GMT)
- The Daggerfall Chronicles is, in fact, the source for this. I can confirm that. Jeancey (talk) 18:58, 1 June 2013 (GMT)
Is Vrage the son of Harald or of Hjalmer?[edit]
The Daggerfall Chronicles claim he's the son of Hjalmer while explaining the succession of High Kings. ("1E 222: King Hjalmer dies. His youngest son, King Vrage the gifted follows.") The only other source I can find is King Edward Part X, which says that Vrage was Harald's second son. All other sources pointing at any of Harald and his sons don't say that Vrage is Harald's son, there's just a reference to the sons of Harald ruling Skyrim in a way that could also be synonymous to "his descendants ruled Skyrim". Why is King Edward taking precedent as historical compared to the Daggerfall Chronicles, when Part X also claims the dwarves were driven out by goblins? Isn't the Daggerfall Chronicles more reliable as a source in this case? 24.212.54.249 21:09, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
- Hey, so I tweaked the article so that its more ambiguous with it and added a note at the bottom to give some context. Let me know what you think of it. --Vincentius1 (talk) 21:54, 18 November 2022 (UTC)
