Melyssa

Melyssa is a Breton acrobat who lives in Bravil. She works as a bartender at The Swamphole.

Melyssa works late and sleeps in. She gets up at noon every day and eats breakfast for two hours, then goes to the chapel to read a book for a couple of hours. At 4pm, she goes to work, serving drinks in the upper bar until the end of her shift at 2am. She then goes home to meet with Torro for a few hours before going to bed at 6am.

Melyssa wears a quilted doublet, tan linen skirt, and doeskin shoes; she carries a copy of Mara's Tear and a house key.

Melyssa lives in a two-story house in central Bravil, next door to A Warlock's Luck. It is small and sparsely furnished, but sturdy (by Bravil standards) and cozy. The downstairs serves as her kitchen and dining room, while the upstairs is her bedroom.

As a barmaid, Melyssa is a great source of rumors and gossip. She'll tell you about various NPCs or places around Bravil:

• Marwen: "Marwen... Marwen despises foreigners. And we ain't depending on them. I mean... that's Bravil... right?"
• Ma Syd Jun: "You better keep away from him and that sister. You best buy from humans here."
• The Red Mare: "The Red Mare is right across from Mara's Chapel. You ain't from here are you? Or was that supposed to be a joke?!"
• Torro: "Ah that guy, he's a regular, never mind him. And best ignore the trolls with him as well."
• Ygor: "Ygor! By the Nine! If he shows up here, he shoos away one customer after another by jabbering them to death. Trust me, that ain't funny no more!"
