Giovanni Andrettus

Giovanni Andrettus is an Imperial merchant and quartermaster of the Rhincodon Gang, a group of marauders who live in the Abandoned House in the Waterfront Tunnel.

Giovanni works at night and sleeps during the day. He gets up at 8am on weekdays and takes up a post in the Waterfront Tunnel to sell his wares; at 10am, he takes a break to eat lunch at The Arboretum Hotel, then returns to the Tunnel for the rest of the day. At 8pm, he closes up "shop" and returns to the House to wander around for a few hours; he eats dinner at midnight, spends two more hours tending to business, then goes to bed at 4am. On weekends, he doesn't work, so he sleeps in until 10am, eats breakfast, and spends the rest of the day in the house.

Giovanni wears middle-class clothing, which he changes sometimes, and is armed with a dagger; he carries a moderate amount of gold and a key to the Abandoned House basement.

If you bump into Giovanni, he'll ask you: "Are you with the Rhincodon Gang, or are you with the Aviogetto Gang?" If you profess ignorance, he explains: "They're two gangs battling it out for ownership of the tunnel between the Waterfront and Temple Districts! I offer services to the Rhincodons, and offer them decent prices on all of my goods! But I refuse to serve anyone in the Aviogetto Gang! But, as long as you're not an Aviogetto, I suppose I could show you what I have for sale."
