Redguard Characters

There are a limited number of characters in Redguard and, unlike the millions upon millions of
undistinguishable peons in Daggerfall, each has their own personality and history. This page
will detail all of the known facts about some of these characters. Some of the information
and images found below comes from the Official Redguard Site
produced by Bethesda.
- Attrebus - A grizzled veteran and personal guard of Lord Richton.
- Avik - The friendly snake charmer.
- Coyle - A young Yokudan boy found north of town.
- Crendal - The town drunk, but not completely useless.
- Cyrus - The main character which you will play, so you better get to know him.
- Dram - A Dark Elf Assassin who appears to be one of the bad guys.
- Dreekius - The informative, argonian barkeep.
- Erasmo - The elderly elven curator of the island's observatory.
- Falicia - The elven apprentice mage.
- Favish - The slightly deaf caretaker of the town bell tower.
- Forebears - Some local boys looking for trouble at the tavern.
- Gerrick - The elvish owner of the town's general store.
- Jaganvir - The current archmage of Stros M'Kai.
- Lakene - The town's fix-it guy.
- Kotaro - Someone who can get things done...for a price.
- Krisandra - The proprietor of the silversmith shop in town.
- Maiko - The town's map maker.
- Mariah - A local citizen with an 'interesting' voice.
- Nidal - The elderly priest of Arkay.
- Pirates - All those quiet thugs walking around.
- Prnell - The slightly blind, telescope operator.
- Richton - The governer of the island and navy admiral, possibly responsible for the disappearance of your sister.
- Rollo - A local dockworker.
- Siona - A working girl down by the docks.
- S'Rathra - A rich and powerful Khajiit whom Cyrus works for from time to time.
- Tobias - One of the major characters in game which will point you in the right direction, hopefully.
- Trithik - A local sailor who seems to know a much about a legendary flask.
- Voa - The former archmage of Stros M'Kai.

- The sixth son of a peasant family from the backwoods of the Colovian West.
- At 16, being bored of farm life, he ran away from home to join the Third Legion mustering in nearby Anvil.
- He was immediately posted to the capital to help put down the Moth Rebellion, where the legion earned the name
"The Faithful" while besieged in the Hesod Barracks by the Cultists.
- The proudest moment of his life was when the Third marched with Tiber
Septim's honor guard during his triumphal re-entry into the capital.
- Over the next few years he saw action in every corner of the expanding Empire.
- He was wounded during the storming of Tarak Shan.
- Nearly lost a leg to an Argonian feather-serpent during the grueling pursuit of Reekee's kidnappers into
the depths of Black Marsh in 861.
- Is fiercely loyal to his Emperor and has little patience with people who refuse to acknowledge the obvious
benefits of the Empire.
- Was involved in the 'unofficial' sack Senchal claiming to have put thirty catmen to the sword himself.
- Was among the few who escaped the Aldmeri trap at Black Rocks.
- Spent an uneventful year on garrison duty in the Nibenay Valley.
- His company was soon after posted to Hammerfell as the personal guard of Lord Richton.
- He'll follow orders and keep a suspicious eye on the locals until his Emperor needs him somewhere else.

- Can be found wandering near the Draggin Tale inn.

- This is the main character in the plot, the one which you will play.
- He grew up in Sentinel of Hammerfell before Tiber Septim's expansion.
- In a drunken bar brawl he killed his sister's husband and fleed Hammerfell.
- He meet up with Tobias, a Nord pirate captain and soon became
a mercanary for hire.
- Cyrus has come to the island of Stros M'Kai in search of his sister, Iszara, who disappeared on the
island when the emperor invaded.

- Little is known of Dram, and the parts that are known are shrouded in mystery and deceit.
- Is a well known ally of Tiber Septim
- Is currently serving Cyrodiil but why, since its Morrowind's longtime enemy.
- He worships Sithis, the God of Death.
- Has been exiled from Morrowind (or the house of Morag Tong?) although no one knows why.
- Dram is currently at Stros M'kai helping Provisional Governor Richton root out the last
of the Redguard resistance fighters. He is one of the Empires more trusted servants and
a deadly assassin.
- Just the kind of guy you'd want at a party...:)

- He has been driven rather mad by Richton's pressing demands and lack of sleep due to the
flashing of the nearby lighthouse at night (which he says are done by ghosts).

interested in picking a fight than providing any useful information. Luckily, being completely drunk, they can't

- Has recently lost his monocle eyepiece.
- Knowns a good deal about the happenings in town and the disappearance of your sister.

- Richton has been a faithful servant of the Empire since Cuhlecian, before Tiber Septim.
- He belongs to a minor noble family from the Colovian West, near the Strid, which supported
Cuhlecain when he began his bid for the throne.
- He quickly distinguished himself as quite competant at sea battles during the campaign against the
pirates of the Abecean Sea.
- He commanded a squadron in the Battle of the Bjoulsae where Wayrest's naval power was
crushed in a surprise dawn attack.
- He succeeded Vasi Hadrach as Admiral upon that officer's assassination at the hands of rebel Reachmen
in a brothel in Daggerfall.
- His crowning achievement, though, came during the invasion of Hammerfell, where he led the New West
Navy to victory over Prince A'tor's fleet in the Battle of Hunding Bay.
- Following this, Tiber Septim appointed Richton as Provisional Governor of Stros M'kai, which became
one of the chief supply ports of the New West Navy.
- Lord Richton's current orders are to clear the waters of pirates and to guard the
strategic Cape of the Blue Divide against the fleets of the hostile Aldmeri Dominion to the south.

- Grew up amoung Khajiit with the violent nomad cats of the Ne-Quin'al plains.
- Was lamed at the massacre of Stoop Low and left for Anaquina to prevent his tribe from bringing
shamed. Eventually ended up in Pellitine to the south.
- He ran a lucrative skooma trade out of Senchal port, smuggling sugar into the Empire, and, unfortunately,
became an addict himself.
- When Cyrodiil strengthened its presence in the Topal Bay, S'rathra left Elsweyr entirely.
- He has currently made Wayrest his port of late, playing the lesser lords of High Rock to his benefit.
- Cyrus and S'rathra have long shared a mutually beneficial relationship- the catman finds the paying parties
and the Redguard does the dirty work.
- He provides the money and transport necessary for Cyrus to reach Stros M'kai when he hears that Cyrus's sister is missing.
- You don't actually meet him in the game, but he is mentioned a few times in your conversation with Tobias.

- Tobias was born in the Colovian west, near the battlefield of Sancre Tor
(anyone know where this is exactly?).
- He grew up hearing stories of the 'Fair Skyrim' and, as soon as he could, travelled
to Haafingar to serve as a marine.
- Eventually he deserted and became a smuggler in the area of the Iliac Bay.
- At Sentinel, he meet our adventurer Cyrus and took him in (Cyrus just having killed
his sister's husband).
- The two travelled together unto the Raid on Tear where they separated.
- He and Cyrus still keep in touch with a mutual friend, a Khajiit named S'ratha.
- Cyrus receives a letter from Tobias which leads him to the island of Stros M'Kai, where
Tobias currently resides.
