Traven Nothren is a Dark Elf pauper who can be found in the cave hall of Ashamul. He lives with his partner, Bradas Varyon, and the pair are well known for getting drunk and rowdy. He is also a former eggminer, and used to work at the troubled Verdunasha-Beracavada Egg Mine.
He wears a common shirt with matching pants and shoes. He wields a steel club.
Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows no spells.
Dialogue[edit]
- Background:
- "My name is %Name. I maintain Ashamul's galleries and homes to prevent a cave-in. Athyn Favelnim helps me a lot with this task by giving me advice and conducting daily inspections."
- little advice:
If Disposition is at least 60:
- "If you want to chat with Bradas Varyon, do a hand gesture like this. He'll know then you're a friend." (Bradas Varyon's Fight level is lowered by 20)
- my trade:
- "I'm a miner, well, a former miner. I used to work at the Verdunasha-Beracavada Egg Mine, but its manager decided the mine was overstaffed... Now, I do odd jobs. Sometimes, Feduran Vandal pays me to clear away the collapsed tunnel. Progress is slow, though, since I'm alone and I only work when paid."
- someone in particular:
- "Well, nirthfly, I am the only man who matters here."
- Verdunasha-Beracavada Egg Mine:
- "Yeah. Varanit Suavyn pretended it was losing money and fired everybody up. Given the quantities of eggs we gathered there, I have trouble believing it was our fault. I rather think he's a lousy manager. What did he learn about mine work by staying at Tel Ouada? Verdu wouldn't have needed to close if it weren't for him, that's all I'll say."
