Pierric the Forlorn is a Breton drunkard and the keeper of the lighthouse located in the city of Daggerfall. He was originally a fisherman, but became the lighthouse keeper after his wife and daughter were taken by slavers from Ebonheart.
Dialogue[edit]
If spoken to, he will say:
- "Did you see something on the horizon? I only came down for a moment."
- Are you the lighthouse keeper?
- "I am now. The harbor master said that since I was always up on the platform, they might as well give me the job."
- Why were you always up on the platform?
- "I used to be a fisherman, but after my wife and daughter were taken, I just felt like I needed to keep an eye on the horizon. I guess I hoped to keep it from happening to anyone else."
- Who took your wife and daughter?
- "Ebonheart slavers. Sent in a boat and took them right off the shore. So now ... I watch."
- And what do you see from up there?
- "Lately, mostly harpies. They live in the crags along the coast, but something has stirred them up. They've been attacking travelers—even within sight of Daggerfall's walls. Be careful if you head that way. And leave your family somewhere safe."
- What about out to sea?
- "Last week in the dawn mists I thought I saw Aldmeri swan ships heading up the coast toward Farwatch. But then the mists thickened and they were gone. Probably just my eyes playing tricks on me."
