Captain Tuvacca in the vision

After encountering Vanisande Maul's spirit she will explain that Commodore Malfairre performed a dark druidic ritual which meant none of those beneath him could truly die. Vanisande then asks for your help breaking the curse, but asks you to find information regarding the ritual.

This can be found from reading various captain logs around the caverns and witnessing the visions of the past she conjures. Captain Tuvacca appears in two: After reading Debonaire's Captain Log:

Vanisande Maul: "There's lingering doubt about this book. Regrets are a lost soul's anchor."

Commodore Malfairre: "I said take the idols! Place them how I showed you. Do as I command and we may yet escape this with our lives."

Captain Fauvette: "Y—yes, sir!"

Captain Tuvacca: "I hope you know what you're doing."

After reading Dour Lady's Captain Log:

Vanisande Maul: "I can feel the dread clinging to this one."

<A vision of Captain Altair and Captain Tuvacca talking will appear.>

Captain Altair: "The Commodore keeps those old idols as good luck charms, but you have to wonder whose favor he's attracting."

Captain Tuvacca: "Aye, and he claims that crusty old tome keeps the secrets of the seas. Why aren't we all bending knee to druids then?"

Dialogue

When her hostile spirit is encountered, she will cry out:

Captain Tuvacca: "I hear the Far Shores' tides lapping against these cursed rocks, but I'll never reach them!"

Captain Tuvacca: "If Tu'whacca can't find us, then Sep take us all."

Captain Tuvacca: "Die and die and die again! It's all we're good for!"

Skills and Abilities

Quick Strike

A basic melee attack that does minor physical damage.

Power Bash

A heavy shield bash that does moderate damage and stuns if it hits the target. This attack can be blocked to stagger Captain Tuvacca.

Block

Captain Tuvacca may also briefly block with her shield, reducing damage taken greatly. Players who attempt melee heavy attacks on Captain Tuvacca while she is blocking will be set off balance.

Dark Talons

Captain Tuvacca calls forth talons from the ground, dealing minor flame damage and rooting anyone hit for 4 seconds. The player can roll dodge to escape the root.

Blazing Charge

Captain Tuvacca dashes at a target and when she arrives, she spins around, dealing magic damage and staggering targets hit.

Summon Totem

Captain Tuvacca summons her Totem (Ghost Haven Bay) that creates an area around it which deals continuous flame damage to targets inside and provides Captain Tuvacca with invincibility in the form of damage shields. It automaticaly expires just after the next one has spawned.

• "Summon Totem" ability is called "Summon Dremora" in the game files
